All tho it sux when a assassin of a SK pretty much 1 shots you. But besides that we do great, sometimes i drop someones HP down to red with in 4 sec. And with ID (inspired daring ) we can 1v 1 just about anyone if you know how to use it. I love it. And the class change thing...they took it out becuase for ex. you start as a fighter using swords then change to monk and you cant use them anymore. make since?

Don't have much experience but I've heard Swashies are pretty strong in the PVP department, though Brigands and Assasins have a bit of an edge so I've heard. I've just started playing again and the new class system is much better. Let's you see how you like the advanced class early on instead of gaining 20 levels and then finding out you don't like the class you chose.

I played a swashy on PvE for many months and made the switch to PvP as soon as the servers went live... a few points...

Still great one-on-one against most classes except Bruisers (of course) and some trouble from Brigands and SKs

Lack of any healing really shows against more than one opponant - evac and AEs can be interupted and really spoil your day.

Same as ever, hit hard and fast - and use stuns and interupts as much as possible, great for messing up casters.

The biggest difference I noticed however, was that I went from being one of only a (reletively) few, to being possibly the most popular choice of class on the Qeynos side of the server (along with Monks, Rangers and Furys) - meaning books are really hard to get hold of and/or expensive. Best advice is to go jeweler and stay well ahead of level. As usual, Adept 3's make a huge difference.

oh and for those of you that haven't tried - PvP rocks :smileyvery-happy:

happy ganking
