<DIV>Just hit 60 and headed directly to broker to pick up some of these t7 poisons, I been hearing so much about. The lifetap poison is nice and the the value of the various debuff ones are evident. However, I was wondering what peopel were using t7 for just straight up damage. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was looking forward to the dd poison w/o the dot component so I could use my mez better against single targets. However, the only one I found usable at 60 was a "caustic poison" and this one actually does less upfront damage than the t6 translucent adeste's poision I've been using for ages plus that has a dot component. I was expecting to find a better damaging either pure dd or dd/dot in t7. Am I missing something, was the broker just outta the good stuff, or are there significantly better versions at 62? Any input appreciated. </DIV>

I still use caustic because it's cheaper and I like not having to worry about the DoT effect. The legendary one is like a 500-something up-front tick.By the way, you didn't mention it, so just in case ya missed it, the power drain is really one of the big winners. Tanking EXP groups and never running out of power or going through long raids (or even fights, like the Vaultkeeper) without power difficulties is awesome. And while it's up you generally don't need to drink anything, which saves you a bundle of money.</div><p>Message Edited by SageGaspar on <span class=date_text>04-22-2006</span> <span class=time_text>08:17 PM</span>

When soloing I use the lifetap. Sometimes during XP runs, or runs vs stuff thats going to take a while to kill I swap to the hemostatic DOT or the DD caustic poison.of the non-red poisons I have been using, in group I usually run Turgars (not sure the exact spelling) to slow down the mobs speed. Sometimes I will run a debuff vs agi/and some skills. It depends on what seems best for our group flavor. Also since the MT I group with usually is a pally and I get Amends on me, I dont run the de-agro poison. His agro tap from amends works great for me, and I will be experimenting with even turning off my de-agro proc as well to help him keep agro off the nuke happy illusionist <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />When I dont group with a pally MT, I do use the de-agro poison.. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />best thing to do is to sit down and look at the stats of what the poisons in each color group do and think of what situations are best.</div>

I dont know if its a "I receive 500 hate and the pally gets 500" or "I move up 5 positions and the pally moves up 5"... but I figure if I am moving up higher, faster.. and am not pulling agro off the mt, then its not hurting and has a chance to help.. especially when you get a nuke-happy caster in group <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

I'm going to test it out next time my pally friend gets on.</div>
