Lvl 63 swashie now. anyone able to start a thread of 1) Good tier6/tier7 Belts - where to loot and what size of group/raid2) +Haste items to replace FBSS (in any slot) - again from where? and what size group/raidThis thread would help us all.....would help me anyways!!!

For +haste buffs I'd suggest the imbued Rings, they proc almost every fight for me, they're well worth it despite the complaints.

Dont waste too much money on haste items, with the right group and bravado its too [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] easy to hit the haste cap. I removed my fbss cause it didnt do me any good anymore, almost every mob im at the haste cap and there are other belts around which have much nicer stats. Not even taking the self buffs into consideration :smileytongue: Onaupu LynxL68 Swashbuckler/L64 TailorHeroes IncSplitpaw

If a mob debuffs your haste, you then have some to make up for that.

Nemesis Chain Bracer is legitimately good enough that even without the haste, if you had one, you probably would be using it anyways since only a couple of items are actually better.

they were actually changed in the last LU, can now be equiped in either the neck or wrist slot.

as i stated before its really easy to hit the haste/dps cap. Both are capped at 100%. If you're not tanking/soloing, i dont really see the use of haste items. In this situation you seldom get your dps/haste debuffed by a mob The cap is already reached too damned easily in particular with ruthless cunning, perfect finesse and bravado. Of course the1st two can be down but bravado alone can also easily get you to the haste cap. Of course if an item happens to have haste i wont discard it just cause it has haste , but my prime concern will be the others stats/procs. Onaupu LynxL70 Swashbuckler/L64 TailorHeroes IncSplitpaw

How does Bravado's (adept 3) 58% haste easily get you to 100% haste cap without haste gear or perfect finesse? The +20something haste imbued ring still doesn't get there. What am I missing?
Message Edited by Fourier on 04-20-2006 03:35 PM

Until very recently the bravado proc would stack with itself.

I think they stealth nerfed this last patch or the one before when they "fixed" the haste percentage displayed.

Perhaps I've been slow pulling up the Persona window but I have never seen Bravado's haste percentage stack with itself. You can proc before it runs out and the buff timer is refreshed but I've never seen the haste % go above the stated spell value.

Add me to the list of people that have never seen Bravado stack with itself, though I've only started my Swash since December. If it did they wouldn't make it give up to 60%, because then stacking with itself would be pointless. You also wouldn't be able to ever leave it up for more than like ten seconds or else the hate would be overwhelming. It'd become useless.

I have watched bravado closely since it was change from a burst buff to a concentration, it has never, ever, ever, and I mean never stacked on itself, the only thing additional procs do is to reset the 20sec duration of the speed buff. The description is wrong and has been proven to be wrong, but has never been changed by SOE to describe the actual effects, or maybe the dev that wrote that particular description has a different idea on what stacking is compared to us.

Mine procs at 66%, with no haste items, I still spend most of my time at least around the mid 80's, but nearly always at 100% due to group buffs.

Bravado did stack with it self. Im pretty sure it also was in the spell description. The hate gain wold also stack with it self. But last week I have been playing with persona window open, and have to say that it doesnt stack anymore And indeed now haste items would be nice again. Previously I kept hitting 100% haste, but since this apparently silent nerf. I keep stuck below 100%, unless one of the CA's is used or grouped and buffed with a +dps. Cheers Onaupu LynxL70 Swashbuckler/L65 TailorHeroes IncSplitpaw

I'm pretty sure (about 90%) that it never actually did stack like it says. I know that it says it does, but as far back as I can remember everyone had been complaining that it didn't stack as intended. It never got fixed that's all.
