Loaded it up on my laptop and shared the logs folder over my network so it wouldn't kill system resources on the EQ2 box... Works very well! Would like to know how I stand

things are changed so much and so often that benchmarks are constantly on the move. I use to DPS well over 1000 in my early 50's (just after DoF came out), then a couple of changes and I dropped to 400, and worked it back upto about 800 by 60, got a few masters and was at 1000 again, haven't looked at number really since KoS came out, expect to be quite high though (depending on your AA's), my best ever DPS was about 4500, that was at level 53, 88% proc on Hurricane, procing off both weapons, master ID and using auto attack :smileywink:<p>Message Edited by Licit on <span class=date_text>04-14-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:25 AM</span>

Ok, thanks guys...My point with that question was really that I was dissapointed to see I was averaging ~130-150 dps per mob the other night and was discouraged. I can't afford poisons and am working on my alchemy as we speak to drive it up so I won't have to go without any longer. I was level 43 in a group fighting mostly orange con mobs, is 150 dps in that situation without poisons "bad?" ??Thanks again for all the advice!

Once you get a parser, Serendia, you can compare your DPS to other group members.  An xp group comparison should give you the warm fuzzies or not.  Your DPS will vary depending on numbers of mobs in encounter, mob level, physical resistances, and how the DPS is parsed.

Unless you're parsing against other people to whom the mobs are orange, the comparison isn't going to be accurate at all.As to benchmarks, at 70 in AE situations I can do huge damage (for me, at least, don't know about uber raiders) -- was posting 1-1.5k over the million HP mobs in Ascent the other night. When I'm scared of stealing aggro I do considerably less, on the tune of 800-1k in Vyemm. If you can get max haste and max DPS with hurricane and WIS line and Inspiration up... hoo boy.</div>
