Is there any kind of full guide/FAQ to poison use and poison creation?I have a low level swashbuckler and I am trying to learn all about poisons and when to use which ones.I also have an alchemist that needs to learn to start making poisons - and making the ones most useful for my swashbuckler.Thanks!<div></div>

<div></div><div><span>There's a ton of them. Here's the trick -- they're going to be revamping poisons and I'm not sure how far along they are. I think they might've redone the level 1-20 poisons, but from then on everything up to 60 is working on the old system right now. Eventually it will be changed to the new system and have the same poisons in each tier that level 60-70 does now. Here's a <a href="http://shadowcompany.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=42293&ForumID=286334&TabID=373407&TopicID=1939720" target="_blank">guide </a>on level 20-59 poisons, and here's a <a href="http://shadowcompany.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=42293&ForumID=286334&TabID=373407&TopicID=2230959" target="_blank">guide </a>on 1-19 and 60-70 poisons. Expect the 20-59 ones to change in the upcoming months.Rijacki's <a href="http://www.eq2alchemy.com/poison.html" target="_blank">site </a>might also help you out, especially with the 20-59 poisons that you'll be using for a while probably. The information on her page is still pertinent to those, it hasn't been updated for the new poisons as far as I can tell.</span></div><p>Message Edited by SageGaspar on <span class="date_text">04-10-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:42 AM</span></p>

Is there another site with information on the 1-19 poisons? That link goes to a broken web site.<div></div>

www.eq2alchemy.com should work for the L10-19 poisons. There's only 2 new ones for L1-9 (and even then, you probably won't even finish a full charge in Tier 1).<div></div>

<DIV>While levelling up, I never bothered with the attribute debuff poisons.  Has anyone else found them useful?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If a mob debuffed my strength by 80, it would have a small effect on my damage output.  If they debuffed my attack speed or piercing/slashing, I'd hit less often, and it would reduce my damage more.  And being stifled/stunned would drastically affect me.  It's the same story with debuffing agility, intelligence or wisdom; there's another way to debuff that would have a much greater impact.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Assuming debuffs affect mobs in the same way they effect us, what's the point with bothering with the attribute debuffs?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only exception I can think of is a long-duration stamina debuff on a mob with enormous numbers of hit points.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But then again, maybe debuffs on mobs aren't the same as on us.  Anyone know?</DIV>

I think stats are bigger for mobs than they are for us, but I'm in the same boat as you of having exactly no idea how much.Only times I've ever used attrib debuffs are right now, in Tier 7, when they're attached to the other stat debuffs. Since they come as a package I can't imagine the stats would do an incredible amount separately.<div></div>

I made some vials of Bloodburst (<span class="EffectHeader">V.large DD / v.small DoT according to EQ2alchemy). Should I only equip 1 vial, or would equipping both vials make it proc more often? Also, do I need to actually apply it to a weapon or does having it in the charm slot make it work automatically?</span><div></div>

<DIV>Cambios,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You don't need to equip poisons, I "Use" them from the inventory.  You could even drag your poison from the inventory to a hot key, and "Use" it from there.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can have three poisons active at a time, but only one of each color.  So if you use two damage poisons, they'll just overwrite each other.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The poison isn't applied to your weapon, but, effectively, you to.  All weapons you equip from then onwards will have a chance to proc that weapon.</DIV>
