<div>I love my wis line atm and I won't change it to any other build, but...</div><div> </div><div>I'm getting tired of answering why I'm only using 1h weapon and nothing on off hand slot.</div><div>Paying for all the poison. I did poets last night with low level guildees and I used up close to 20k shots of poison.  Thats close to 7g...</div><div> </div><div>I think its time for me to make an alchy alt.</div>

I haven't gotten much flack about going with wis line. Some guildies scratched their heads when the bard won the uber dual wield weapon though.<div></div>

<div></div>I am soooo glad I made an alchi and leveled him up with the POF expansion.  Not relying on others for the huge amounts and variaties of poisons and potions I use has made the game much more enjoyable.  You won't regret it.  Just start now before your level 200 and realize this.  heh

Hehe, I love it when people I've been grouped with for weeks hesitantly ask me, "So, umm... you're using a one-hander, huh." You know everyone's thinking it, but no one wants to be the one to ask <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Or on the raid when I turn down an uber dual wield and everyone's scratching their heads.Good old fashioned family fun <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div>You shouldn't have wasted your chance with that uber dual wield.  There's already talk of nerfing our wisdom line. (would mean less chance to double attack and proc probably)</div>

<div>I would expect any nerf would be to prevent Double Attacks from proccing. Even then, the only really huge difference it would make would be with Inspired Daring and Inspiration. Only Mental Breech, Vitality Breech, Caustic, and a few debuff poisons like stun are really any more effective than they are with just dual wielding, most of them you are just wasting poisons by proccing it too many times. Also a whole lot of level 60+ one handed weapons flat out do not have procs, a lot more so than dual wield ones.</div><div>Double Attacks alone don't do that absurdly more damage over Dual Wielding that I would expect them to nerf the Double Attack rate.</div><div> </div><div>I have yet to really hear anyone complain about Rogue WIS line being overpowered in game though. Then again, I didn't hear anyone griping about Crusader INT line either.</div>

Plus, I don't think my guild would like it if I rolled on an uber dual wield that I might use sometime in the future at a raid when there are other people who would actually use it ;P</span></div>

Hell just froze over." lol.  Nice to be out of the usual mode. </DIV>

<div></div>why shouldn't double attacks proc?? (btw, this is how rangers got nerfed by people complaning about how they were going through poisons too fast)we're sinking 20 aa points to just let us have the equal dps ability as someone who is using dw'ers, but we have to spec our characters to be proc heavy to take advantageso if you don't like proccing a little bit more, then a) don't use poisons or b) respec str and agi, im sure you'll still do around the same dps<div></div><p>Message Edited by Riversideblues on <span class=date_text>04-14-2006</span> <span class=time_text>03:06 PM</span>

<P>The devs will be looking into Double attack.  AAs are supposed to be viable alternatives not game breaking.  ATM any rogue that uses 1h  WIS line is doing ALOT more damage than those with dual wielders.</P> <P>I use dual wielders cause I like them and I already have a Vyemm's Fang.  But, at the moment, the WIS line is way too good.  Its not an equal alternative its the only choice if you want to maximize dps.</P> <P>At Fan Faire, the devs said they would be looking into the way Double Attack works.</P>

Why shouldn't it be better? It's a big upfront point Investment, you lose stats from having no offhand, you limit your weapon selection severly. It's a trade off that has to be made that the other lines don't have. That's why WIS does maximize DPS, because if it it didn't, it wouldn't be worth taking due to the penalties.</P> <P>Just like the Fighter line with Double Attack, where they have to use a Buckler instead of a proper shield, there is a large penalty. Same with Brawler line where they can't use weapons in their STR line to get Double Attack. Penalty, for a bigger return then other lines.</P>
