<div>I am thinking Warden, Fury, Mystic? Leaning toward Fury for the DPS, but wondering if the healing style would be as beneficial as the other 2. I don't think I'd consider a Templar (reactives not the best support for an avoidance MA).</div><div> </div><div>Just curious what your imput might be?</div>

<div></div><p>All those choices are good, but I would rather take defiler over mystic.</p><p>I would say Fury is probably the best choice.</p>

<div>Hi Krescendo,</div><div> </div><div>I personaly recommend mystic (possibly defiler but i've not grouped with one when duo). Mystics get some nice debuffs, wear chain and get some nice group buffs. This really helps our dps - to my knowladge warden/furys do not. However when duoing with a mystic i let them tank, this lets me dps more and they can easily take the hits and heal them selves w/o problem. The main reason I do it this way is effecieny, we can tank np with the mystic healing and take down yellow ^^^ but with the mystic tanking the mob dies that much faster ! :smileyvery-happy:</div><div> </div><div>I don't have any of the sta line AA's so i don't know first hand where those would fit in, i would guess if you were planning on going that route a fury might be better. With a fury you'll be doing less dps but taking less damage and holding better agro, so you'd need the fury's extra dps to make up for the loss of your own.</div><div> </div><div>As you can see swashbuckler is a very adapatable class and can be built to suit the suituation you require ! any healer can and does work with us so you should look at what the healers do outside the healing part of their role and how you wish to build your own role. </div><div> </div><div>One bit of advice, we are migation AND avoidance tanks, we avoid better than most plate tanks but mitagate better than monk/brusiers (but over all are weaker then both). So when buying armor always get the best mitagation chain and raise your agi for avoids (easy with our class) so you get the best effect. Do not ignore the migation stat as i see so many other swashy's doing, if you wish to tank from time to time. Even in xp groups where our role 99% of the time is dps, its VERY useful to be able to step in when the tank is not avaible (afk, ld, died etc) imo this is a huge mistake people make, swashy's strength is in being ready to fill any role at a moments notice (other than healing of course) we have the skills, abilies and tools to do this. The saying jack of all trades master of none is most certanitly true for the Swashbucker !</div><div> </div>

<div>Actually, Fury can do more DPS then us with right gear and spell at high level.</div><div> </div><div>Fury's pet does aoe damage and its not a proc like ours.</div><div>Group with 55+ fury with adp3 or master pet spell. You would be amazed how much dps that pet can pull out.</div><div> </div><div>And I say defiler over mystic because defiler has more and better debuffs then mystic. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

<div></div><p>Ah thanks, I have a 28 Fury that duo's with a Necro and holds his own dps-wise. They don't take hits so well, though, and the healer tanking hadn't occured to me, although I have done it with a Dirge/Templar 2 boxing.</p><p>The input will give me some food for thought.</p><p> </p>
