Now what? This being my first ever character, I don't have a lot of cash but am in desperate need of armor upgrades (my weapons arne't too bad, both legendary 36+). Any suggestions as to what quests I can do for some upgrades would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

omg, this was sooo long ago and before I took my swashy really seriously, I had Fulginate for most of my 40's, upgraded to fabled when I joined a raiding guild, most important things back then were weapons, you needed all legendary and 2 of each type. Now though, the HQ's for SSoY and SBD should do you till at least 50. For armor, go with what you can easily afford, save your cash for teir 7.

You should be able to get free j-boots in a level or 2 as well

I was in same boat as you were. What I did was do quests in Feerrott and try to farm Ebon from there.

I managed to get 4 ebons in 3 nights and found an armorer who were crafting t5 armors for 25gp if I had all the materials. Since questing in Feerrott gives over 1g per quest, I was able to get myself 4 ebon armors in 3 days.

The most cost effective way to equip at lvl 40 is:HERITAGESa) The teachings of yoru - u MUST get FBSS it rocks (+haste on it)b) The journey is half the fun - J-boots, better than pathfinding. *Tip: do everfrost quests if u are struggling here and kill ALL wolves u come across to loot wolf blood (speed buff).c) The reaching blade of the assassin - lvl 40 duel wield weapon d) The rescue of the greenhoods - your 2nd lvl 40 weapon (P.S. also consider doing Training is a shield at the same time as both require u to go into DFC, the lvl 40 shield can be your backup if u wish to tank in an emergency). If you are in a guild they will welcome the status and u get some nice kit!!Also do EVERY pickup quest you can find in feerrott and everfrost (tip: in everfrost check out the gravestones on the little island near the zone point, invis in the water and watch out for dreadwake). You will get enough item upgrades from these 2 zones to keep you sweet. If you do mine 1 or 2 ebon clusters, i suggest either selling them.....or getting a pristine imbued ebon chainmail coat + leggings.

Message Edited by Wildfury77 on 04-06-200605:05 PM

Hey all, thanks for the replies!I just finished FBSS so just need one more level (slowing down to work on alchemy at the same time) to equip that. Will look into the other two heritages (working on jboots already) and everfrost / feerott quests. Thanks a bunch for the advice!

they are also the only 2 run speed buffs which stack, meaning you have 26% speed
