View Full Version : Two Boxing
<div></div><div>I've been two boxing a Monk / Mystic with great success and a lot of fun. My Swashy has finally reached the Tradeskill lvl I need him at to make some cash so I'm gonna start Adventure lvling him again. Anyone have any experience with the best two box healer / other to combine with a Swashbuckler? The obvious is my Mystic with Wards as my Swash will be the Tank but I also have a Warden I use that is a blast. Anyway, I'm interested in your input and reasons to get the best duo partner for him</div><div> </div><div>Thanks,</div><div> </div>

<div></div><div>Whenever i wasnt around partner used his mystic to help me get some levels in with my swashy.</div><div> </div><div>Great combination for the reasons you already know and have stated.</div><div> </div><div>Using aggro debuffs carefully and not going aggro crazy and getting mystic to pull and stay warded You can usually keep behind the mob while it stays on him therefore allowing swashy to use my rear attacks.</div><div> </div><div>We used to be able to kill yellow ^^^ mobs fairly efficiently.</div>

I duo with my GF a lot and she is a 70 defiler. Defiler buffs work well with a swash, group STR, HP buffs, single target HP buffs, group Mitigation buffs, 1 reactive when hit buff and 1 damage proc. Works out very well.<div></div>
<div></div><div>Hey thanks for the input. the_voices, do I understand you let your Mystic tank when duoing with your Swashy? I had thought about it but kinda disregarded it. My Swash has one aggro gainer and a few good aggro reducers. I'll give it a try and see how that works.</div>
<div></div>just mentor with your Mystic, if he has decent gear, even mentored he will be more effective than an equivalent level "other" healer

<div>Ive been boxing swashie and templar for many months, and whilst it might not look as the best combination, it has in most occassions served me surprisingly well.</div><div>With str buff and all the extra HP/mitigation glory of combat has done most of my healing since my templar turned 50. Templars huge lack of both debuffs and dps of their own means I can focus on one character 95% of the time with only occassional reactives cast. Only times I get real issues is when I get several heroics encounters on me at once when duoing this way, add an illusionist and it'd be a non stop killing machine... *grins*</div><div> </div><div>note: these are just my experiences, Ive duoed for real with most sorts of healers and they all seem more busy then clerics, but my highest non templar priest is just round lvl 30 so cant lay any big knowledge claims on them.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

A fury would be good to combine w/ a swashy.Swashy can tank and DPS, while Fury can Nuke and Heal<div></div>Conjurer + Fury works pretty well.Conjurer: Pet tank NukesFury: Nukes Debuffs Group Buffs Heals<div></div><p>Message Edited by BenDJ on <span class="date_text">03-22-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:15 PM</span></p>
