<div>I'm using <a target="_blank" href="http://csm.shadowydomain.com/">combatstats </a>to monitor my dps and it has not yet ONCE shown an attack called pirate stab (Avast Ye from the agi AA line). I have rank 2 of it and have never seen a proc throughout all of rank 1. Is there something else it's called in the log file?</div>

<div></div><div>Two examples copied from my log of yesterday's hunting. I had a total of 35 procs of it, which ain't bad considering I have only 1 or 2 points in it. Occasionally proced when soloing, but I imagine that must have been after a Walk the Plank.</div><div> </div><div>...YOUR Pirate Stab hits a torpid bloodbloom for 155 points of piercing damage....YOU try to pierce a Sandfury brute with Pirate Stab, but a Sandfury brute resists.</div><div> </div><div>If you can, try doing a search of your character's log file:</div><div> Progam Files->Sony->Everquest II->logs->[server name]->eq2log_[character name]</div><div> </div><div>Interesting to note it seems to resist ... and not miss. (Walk the plank misses)</div><div>Anyone know what a mob uses to resist it? If they used magic, then our magic/divine debuff/snare might very slightly help our damage, as well that of priests, illusionists and others.</div><p>Message Edited by tawek21 on <span class="date_text">03-19-2006</span><span class="time_text">03:05 AM</span></p>

<div></div>It's still piercing damage, which means that they would be using physical mitigation.

<div>I have finally seen procs of Pirate Stabs - on raids with extend fighting. At 2 ranks I'm not hitting anywhere near the 4% proc rate - oh well. At least it's working.</div>
