Mine never seem to last as long as they're supposed to. The duration time on mine is 12 hours yet I'm for some reason needing to re use a poison 3 or 4 times a day.Last I checked my poison it had 8 hours on it still.. It's been maybe 3 at most and I noticed it's gone so I'm having to use another one.Anyone else have this?

What about your charges? Not even sure why they bother to have the time limit as its all really about the charges.

If you're fighting alot 100 charges (for npc damage poisons) or 200 charges (for player crafted dmg posions) don't last very long at all. I don't think I ever had poison go away from time limit, but sometimes I use up all charges in an hour or less and have to reapply.

BTW Keep in mind that the debuff poisons also have significicantly less charges than the dd/dot ones.

Message Edited by dagoo7 on 03-16-200610:42 AM

Oh... I didn't know they had charges on them, other than the how many times it can be activated.Okay, that explains it then.. Don't know why that charge isn't listed on it, just the duration which you're right, doesn't really matter if it goes by how many strikes.

It doesn't tell me the charges... Only charge I get is how many uses it has or how many times it can be activated, 7/7 from the start and 3/7 now, hovering in the inventory.Hovering over the buff icon itself it only tells me the time left.

mouse over the poison in your spell effects window (not your maintained spells) and it will have a number of charges listed, this is how many times it can still proc.

As said above you can mouse over the icon in your buff window and it will tell you how many procs it has remaining.

If you examine the poison and read the description(at the top) it will say, usually in the last sentence, how many times that poison can trigger.

If you go to here: http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/TranslucentDecrepitStab.php that poison for example can trigger a maximum of 200 times.

Message Edited by Delowen on 03-16-200608:55 PM

Just to clear up some confusing terms:

Charges is how many times you can apply that poison before it runs out and you need to buy more.

Procs is the number (200 for damage) of times it initiates and effect on a mob before you have to reapply.
