I am looking for some help picking my Swashies Master II choice. I get to choose from Viscerate, Quick Flurry, Flight of Foot, and Circle Blade. My thoughts are that CB is junk and I should probably grab FoF. I figure it is a nice enough buff. I just don't want to replace it almost immediately so I came here for advice. Thanks! <span>:smileyhappy:</span>P.S. I am lvl 14.<div></div>
I typically go with the one that wouldn't get replaced for a while. I'd personally select the buff. The master ii will most likely last you through the next replacement thus being the best for the long term. Alot of other people will tell you that the boost of stats is minimal and not worth it.<div></div>

<div></div><div>Levels come so quicly at that point that attacks get replaced/underpowered pretty quickly. So I would recommend going with the Footwork as those extra buffs will continue to give some benefit to both old and new abilities until it gets replaced (in mid-20s maybe?),</div><div> </div><div>That being said quick flurry and viscerate are bread and butter attacks and could increase your killing efficiency noticeably over the short-term. Circle blade line does ok damage given its timer at higher lvls and is good to upgrade, but not worth wasting a master choice on, unlike the rakish swathe line.</div><p>Message Edited by dagoo7 on <span class="date_text">03-16-2006</span><span class="time_text">06:07 AM</span></p>

My swashy has taken Quick Flurry at MAster, which combined with my Adp III ranged attack is proving very useful on PvP <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div><p>Take Quick Flurry. The extra amount of AGI and STR from Footwork is pretty negligible. The difference between the Adept 1 version of that buff and the Master II really doesn't amount to the much extra effectiveness. However, with Quick Flurry, it is really major. Not to mention that there are no positional requirements, making it useful all the time, and you don't lose the ability to use it some of the time, like the AoE skill.</p><p>The extra damage from using Quick Flurry as often as possible easily beats out a very minor damage boost from Footwork. Sure, you might not have to upgrade Footwork in the next tier, but even so, Adept 1 of the next tier version of Footwork is usually within 1-2 of it. Not only will the Master II version of Quick Flurry be better than Adept I next tier, but it will use much less power, that is a nice little bonus right there. Footwork is a buff, so it doesn't matter how much power it uses, but Quick Flurry you are going to use many times in a fight, using less power is an advantage when you get the next level of those skills.</p>

<div></div><p>I took Quick Flurry and I am not having any regrets. It is up almost every fight (if I'm chaining through mobs) and it knocks anywhere from 25-33% of a mob's health in one shot, and hits at least 90% of the time due to being M2. Well worth it. Great for ending a fight against a wounded mob when an add wanders over, or for alpha-striking a healing mob in a group.</p>

<div>I went with the AoE attack and never regretted it. It made tearing through groups of mobs a blast. But that was before the 1-20 revamp, so I'm not sure how much has changed.</div>
<div></div><p>I picked Viscarate as my first Master II choice. Was either that or Quick Flurry. Don't think you can go wrong with either.</p>

I personally went with Circle Blade and it is *VERY* useful for killing 2+ mobs at once.<div></div><p>Message Edited by lolercopter on <span class="date_text">03-18-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:14 AM</span></p>

Circle Blade worked for me. It's a good choice if you solo a lot.<div></div>

<div>I got the flight of foot, since I figured that wouldnt be replaced as fast, and the extra stats are always nice. Pre-class change I took circle blade, which was nice, but now I tend to get more DPS because of the master buff.</div>
