<div>I've tried searching previous posts, but could not find any real information on this, so posting a new question.</div><div> </div><div>The 30-50% proc from Hurricane, is that normalized for a 3.0 delay weapon, meaning it is less for most of our weapons, or is it literally on every 1/3rd or second attack, no matter the weapon?</div><div> </div><div>Reason I am asking is, if it is normalized, then slow weapons have a big advantage. They proc more often, and every time they proc, it is for more damage then a comparitive faster weapon.</div><div> </div><div>If it is not normalized, then it is equal, and fast/slow do not matter.</div>

<div></div>Yep its normalized, slow weapons rock the casba with hurricane... especially since you can also proc off the extra hits!

<div>Thanks for the info.</div><div> </div><div>Now I guess I have to look into slow one handers..</div><div> </div><div>Slowest Dualwield we've got is Leafblades at 2.1.. Slowest 1handers available to Swashies are like what.. 1.8 longsword or so?</div>

<div></div><p>I read this a while ago and just recently I started thinking about it again, but I'm not sure I fully understand the details.  Can someone explain it better?  I'm not following how the slower weapons are better or procing more.</p><p> </p><p>Thanks</p>

Your mileage may vary, but I find that I prefer the hightened single-target ID damage of a quick weapon to the better hurricane damage with a slow weapon. Not that there's too much choice, every T7 legendary weapon I find either has [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ty DPS or 1.6 speed, hehe <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span></div>

There's a regular proc that has x% chance to hit per HIT. And then there's a "normalized" proc which has x% chance to proc per 3 seconds. Most procs now are normalized and the % is based off of 3 seconds. This is to make slower weapons proc an equal amount of times as the faster ones.IMHO huricane and the double attack should NOT be normalized.</span></div>

<div></div><p>I've confirmed Double Attack is not normalized..</p><p>And now that I think about it, I doubt Hurricane is. It wouldn't be balanced if it was. Now that I've actually gotten it, it seems to actually proc roughly at the 40% rate, though that maybe more because with double attack it probably has a 72% higher chance to proc.. it also seems Hurricane hits can proc double attack..</p>
