<div>Last night my group is taking Blackscale Seplucher for the second time.  Now we've completed this once, but we felt there might be a better way that doesn't require as much luck.  Be warned, I will try not to spoil the solution but there are some:</div><div> </div><div>****************SPOILER ALERTS**************************</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>In this story <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  Do not read on if you don't want hints about instances you may not have done yet.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>We run into an encounter where we needed to keep three mobs mezzed.  Our illusionist could do it but was running the risk of too many resists.  Our first try saw him dead after holding the mobs for some time.  We wracked our brains, no one had a good root etc.   Illusionist and I confer and decide, I will support mez him rather than help kill mobs.  My job?  If he gets two resists in a row on one of the three mobs, my job was to swash mez it.</div><div> </div><div>Worked like a charm.  When he called for it, I mezzed the mob.  That extra 22 seconds was neough for him to get one of his on it and move on.  The 10 second or so downtime for me wasn't an issue.  In essence, for the duration of this particular encounter, I was part of the CC group. </div><div> </div><div>Now there are a number of ways to solve the encoutner we were facing, but this particular solution required my assistance to pull off.  If we'd had somebody else in the group, may not have needed me.  But we didn't.  All we had was me. No other option was available.  We can argue day in and out about ideals, but reality is you go with waht you have and in this situation, the Swashbuckler's versatily outweighed his DPS and saved the day.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Got my drakescale pauldrons out of the bargain so no complaints here.  That illusionist got an amazing robe (48 int!) as well.</div><div> </div><div>Swash versatily for the win, every time in my book.  Can't beat it.  Can only envy it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div>

<div>Hehe, did this instance yesterday too, we had no CC at all cept for me tho so ended up doin a bit different :p</div><div>Luckily, we had two healers, so we just engaged them all, killed the wrong ones, took the ones we needed to orange and then just let em play punch bag with our poor tank till we had last guy up :p</div><div>I did get a minor part of CC role there tho, as one of them got into red by ripostes so I kept him calm and quiet for most of the time.</div><div>Ill agree totally on the versatility tho, except for healing we can pull off any role. Not as good as the more focused classes but well enough to make a huge differance at times and in some areas we even excell.</div><div>(now, if only they gave mez a longer range Id be delirious... the duration I can live with but mezzing at melee range seems so un-stylish :p )</div><div> </div><div> </div>
