Ruthless Cunning and Artful Finesse

<div>Sorry if this is silly noob question but still relatively new to swashie.  I just dropped a bunch of coin on buying Adept III for Ruthless Cunning and then I realize that I will aslo get the dps/haste buff artful finesse (and ingenious finesse later) as I level.  I'm assuming these two don't stack, but for the love of god and my bank account, please tell me these two abiilities (i.e., ruthless cunning and artful/ingenious finesse) are not on the same timer.  In other words, I'm hoping that its possible to pop one as soon as the other drops, effectively having a buff 2 out of every 5 minutes.</div>

<div></div>These two skills are different, one is a DPS buff, the other is a DPS and attack speed buff, they are on different timers and yes they do stack.

Has the haste cap (previously 100%) been raised? Or is the haste display on the Persona window just buggy?</p><p>I also hit 140% haste the other day - bravado, finesse, fbss, bravo's dance, and monk group haste, I think - according to the Persona window, and screenshotted it just so I could prove I wasn't going crazy. It seems an odd coincidence that other people are maxing out at 140% exactly too -- if it was a display bug, why stop at 140? Of course, it also brings into question whether certain buffs are designed to break haste stacking rules, or if haste stacking rules are just broken period... but I won't bring that up. <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div>I would have to assume that the haste cap has been raised.  I was raiding with a zerker in my group and hit the holy [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] buttons (finess and cunning) and I hit over 180% haste and 134% DPS and my parse was alot higher then when both were near or around 100%.</div>

<div></div>Since LU19 I have topped 100% often on haste and a few times on DPS on the persona display. My log parsing shows an equivalent auto-attack damage increase as well, so it looks like there is no cap or it is now very high. <div></div>It is level 30-35 or so. Grab a ruthenium or opal and have a jeweler make the ad3. 41% dps increase - 1 minute duration.

<div></div><div></div>I think these special bonus abilities can only be bought at AppII from the appropriate npc after completing a quest line.  If you want higher level have to get  it crafted.  That means AFAIK no Master I's, just AppIV, and AdeptIII.  I was lucky enough to find an Adept III on broker first time i checked.<p>Message Edited by dagoo7 on <span class="date_text">03-01-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:14 PM</span></p>

<div></div>I'm not sure if you actually need to complete quest to be able to use the crafted ones.  However, I don't think you do.  Could probably just have it made and learn it w/o completing quest line.  Anyways, you are most definitely going to want higher than AppII.  So would go ahead and buy a crafted or have one made and see if it works.
