What a fun skill! Lets have a little fun with this one. List what humaniods you have lightened the pockets of and how much you have recieved.Bunch of undead in TS and Feerrot. 27c - 1s20cGoblins and others in EL: 1s30c - 1s90cGuards in Qeynos: 3s40c-8s11cIt seems any green con mob has the potential to attack. And dont even try to pickpocket an EPIC x4 Lvl 70 guard. He hit me for 13390 dmg! Haha well it was funny as heck! So far the guards are the richer of mobs I've pickpocket.Calis of AB - 60 Pirate

<div></div><p>Grey mobs have the potential to attack too, as I proved last night with the Nerius Pirates in Nek. I guess that 28 copper really meant alot to them. :smileywink:</p><p>Overall the ability is a little underwhelming compared to the base ones on other lines. With the low amount of coin we can get (best I've gotten is about 4 silver in Maj'Dul) about the only positive thing I can call it is...our best fluff spell ever! (But its <strong>still</strong> beaten by the crusader fluff horse)</p>

In 30 minutes you'd have 50s, an hour you'd have a gold. A gold an hour isn't really that bad.</span><div></div>

However we're talking about the 50+ range mobs to pull in even that much. Compared to the cash that you'd get from just normal play in that same hour at those levels that coin is pretty insignifcant.</p><p>Now from a roleplay perspective (something I heartily endorse) who cares? I like the ability for its flavor. And yes, if it gave decent cash for the level range every non-swashbuckler player in the game would with so many torches and pitchforks that it will make the Rangers glad they're not us. So I'm not really expecting the coin to get better.</p><p>I suppose in a perfect world what I would like to see is a faster recharge timer (about half the current) with an extra side effect (on success) of making the target immune to further uses of that ability. In other words that we'd have a chance to use it on every potential target but we'd be unable to abuse the same one for infinite pocket lint.</p><p><em>Obviously this isnt going to happen, I'm just daydreaming!</em></p>

<div>6s 75c off some Droag's in the Vaults of El'Arad. </div><div> </div><div>What's bizzarre is you can't pick pocket the Aviaks in the Egg instance  But you can pick pocket Droags in the vaults however you can't pick pocket the Erudites in vaults.  The definition of "Humanoid" seems to be a little off <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>No complaints though, I'm enjoying the supplimental income.</div>

<div>What I've noticed is that the coin you pickpocket is about 10% of the money you'd get if you were to kill the mob and then loot him.</div>

<div></div><div>Quite a few of the first AA abilities are not all that great, so no big deal (pretty much get the first AA point if you do anything that earns AA xp anyways). Some are decent, but people have being saying to add something like this for a while, so at least that complaint is out of the way now.</div>

<div>Was compairing our pick pocket with my fianceés ranger yesterday. Theirs is a bit similar, they get a chance to get a bounty from killing a NPC when they have it on, with a much longer recast tho. The pitfull amount do make it into kinda a fluff thing, but I guess no class gets anythin real kool at first AA spending. The classes that get pets as their first might look kooler, but they are all pretty much useless without additional AA's to utilize em with. Now, if we had gotten a parrot..... *dreams*</div><div> </div><div> </div>
