<div></div><p>This change was done in LU#19 I think.</p><p> </p><p>Basically cheap shot will stun a no arrow even con mob long enough for me to get 3 positionals off.</p><p>1-2 up mob I can get 1 rear off and with a 3up it's 50/50 to getting a rear off.</p><p> </p><p>Verified this last night on my swashie that was getting his rear off on non arrow mobs.</p>

<div></div>Our Flashy Throw was apparently slapped down to one second as well. Not sure about our other stuns as I can't get on now. I heard on the Bruiser forums, at least, that their stuns were effected. Its a display bug, shanghai says 1 sec but it still actually works for 4 seconds.I've had no issues at all with cheap shot, so I'm not sure what the issue is. <div></div>

I've got some people saying it's a display bug and unchanged, and others saying they've used their stuns and they're working for one second as indicated, and I'm away from home and unable to check for myself until Friday, so I'm just gonna flip out now! <span>:smileysurprised:</span><div></div>

<div></div>cheap shot is a skill given to all scouts, it should be in your knowledge book, its given at level 6. It needed to be replaced on your hotbars due to a recent change in one of the LU's, was made non upgradable, meaning it is the same for everyone, no more adept 3 for me :smileysad:

I didn't play much before my server went down, but I didn't notice a change. Cheap Shot has been working 1s on anything with an arrow for the past couple patches. Try it on a no-arrow solo, and if it breaks in one second then you have your proof. I'm just skeptical because I've heard a lot of people complain about this 'issue' every patch, not realizing it's been there forever and it's just the display that's changing.<div></div>

Get your bank to refund your payments....good luck with that. Have u even read the EULA once. I can't be bothered with whinners - and in any case, can confirm that cheapshot still works fine on simple MOBs , just logged on and checked! Each update has good points and bad points - ADAPT!! We are a great class and now we can even tank/dps with the stamina line (which won't apply to all but gives us new flexibility to choose).P.S. If you like moaning roll a templar or guardian and hang around in their forums......those boys moan about everything, all the time.........<div></div>

Now for reality; cheap shot doesnt work except as an interrupt anymore due to being a 1 second shot now.</p><p>To illustrate the depth of the jamming we have recieved; my level 6 brigand can actually land his backshot. My 42 swash cannot land even 1 on a grey, green, or blue, of several different calibers and creeds.</p><p>Cheapshot= worthless now, which is what the thread was about; sorry if you are too braindamaged or blind to comprehend that.</p>

EXCEPT you are master of timing (hit cheap shot while jumping over the mob and follow up immediatly with a positional...).what is the point? this is solo-play. in a group where the mob is turned the other way i hit it with my positionals anyway... i think/hope it was unintentional, otherwise assassins could kiss their high hitting CAs good bye.. and a ranger too... hidden attack is completely useless that way as it has a 1 sec cast timer... with this you could just land a cheap shot - hidden attack - shadowflame combo... now it is bleed, impale and autoattack (after you pull the mob with 2 bow CAs... ).not nice to change and not give a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] word about it.Olaf</span><div></div>

And last night, it wasnt even working against greys, which is when i got mad.</p><p>They neither said anything about the intended change, the "oops" or the fix. But on the positive side, ive learned what not to try soloing, the con system is a little weird to me still, so learning that all over again helped me alot.</p><p>I still dont see the godlike solo of winning against triple down green heroics, but it is xp either way, and groups of them can be great with aoe.</p>

Ah, you might be right on that, then. Sorry for being rude, but I was replying to the same <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Anyway, I didn't notice because I still have time to get off a backstab on any heroic and my standard two (sometimes three for mastery) on solos. You don't need to be a master of timing, just hit cheap shot and jump over as soon as it casts. The casting time is .5 seconds on all our backstabs (except maybe the Ancient Teachings one, which I don't have yet).<div></div>

Hmm, i did some more testing with this "cheap shot thing"... It looks as the skill works as before... I was able to do the "cheap shot- hidden attack -shadowfire" combo to alabaster behemoths (queynos caves ^^mobs) but not against slaverjaw (named ^^^mob) but that might just be because of timing... In addition this "stun 1 sec" appears on other skills as well, namely things that have knock-down affects.To my guess is, that something in the update overwrote the description, but the skills work as intended.
