I'm a confused lvl 55 swashie - in defensive mode with shield ( = nearly same mitigation as plate tank <i><b>with </b></i>50% avoidance) and master 1 admonish and good use of devious blade line I seem to be a tank....hehe <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div>Rogues can be classed as light tanks, hench the reason SOE gave rogues the most base health with the combat revamp. However, dare you to try tanking a raid mob and see how long you last :smileywink:

I am surely a good tank if you consider holding aggro, but when the mob starts landing hits, i always wish to have gotten my guardian out<div></div>

<div></div><p>If I wanted to be in any sort of a tanking position, my guardian would have been my main toon.</p><p>I'm not looking forward to the path that leads us down the shield/one hander path. I want to be behind the mobs doing dps and debuffing. I like being able to smuggle a group around, that is if everyone is paying attention and not getting out of range. I like to be able to "get us out of here" with evac when things go wrong. I like being able to track, even though the track window bugs sometimes.</p><p>I like being a scout, rogue, and a swashbuckler. There are things I can do that I never was able to do in EQ1 (evac, group smuggle, tracking), and if/when I move on to another game, I'm going to miss being able to do them.</p>
