View Full Version : all these spells
ok as far as using my dps spells I have them all down pact on what to hit and when to keep the mob weeping, but what i dont get are all these snares and spells that decrease mig and whatnot. In fact just to have them I need a seperate hotbar for them all. my question is how do I effectivly use them all in soloing or in grpes. im lv 24 right now so I have my stun, 2 snares, a drop in defence and wis, and some threat reducers as well as a threat increaser. what a swash would want to threaten a mob is beond me but it must be of some use.<div></div>

<div>Your gonna have to breakdown and open another bar and very soon a 3rd one. Those debuffs and stuns are crucial grpd or solo. You will be surprised how much they help play around in a safe area try killing a mob using normal attack then pop in a few of those debuffs and stun you will see a difference. I've only used the taunts on occasion where a healer is under attack but yeah we are about the only class with hate increasers and decreaser. Be smart and you'll have a blast.</div>

<div></div><p>Yeah, we have lots of arts... this is a good thing. I currently have 4 hotbars for attacks and two with other random stuff on it. This is a game where you are meant to have multiple bars.</p><p>It's also important to have all your spells available to you all the time. In the time it takes you to switch from bar 1 to bar 4 where your taunt is, your healer might be dead, at which point you're screwed. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div>hehe.. this is how my UI looks as level 60 swashie....</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div><img src="http://www.ladiesempire.com/miepsieui.jpg"></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>I think im up to 5 hotbars atm...</div><div>top one: misc needable/usables, like manastone, SP call, poison, mount etc.</div><div>rest are 4 high 3 wide</div><div>1: normal everyday, pahtfinding, Calls, track, sit etc.</div><div>2: debuffs and some random that had room :p</div><div>3: Attack, attack, attack!!!!</div><div>4: buffs and stuff I dun wanna click on by accident, like evac, taunt and HoS</div><div> </div><div>Have a strong feeling Kingdom of Sky means Ill need yet another hotbar :o</div><div> </div><div>My advice, look around on how others set up their UI as much as ye can, can always get good ideas that would take forever to come up with for yerself <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> 'sides, as a swashie, we have to be able to handle all situations, we jack of all trades afterall, trying to locate taunt when a heroic is beating on yer healer in a duo is quite stressfull :p</div><div> </div><div> </div>

LOL, I have 6 bars already. 7 Actually but, I just scroll #6 up to grab one of the master strikes i will be using at that time and move it to an empty slot on the ones I keep up.

Provided you have no other ca's or spells being cast or qued, it will select only the appropirate master strike for your current target.Wll have to double check the syntax, but I believe that is it. Then just place one master strike next to the icon for the macro and you can see if it has refreshed.</span><div></div>
