<div>For those who havn't seen it already there is some good info from Blackguard that he gave during an interview on Online Gaming Radio.  He talks about the new Advancement system in KoS and goes through a couple of the scout lines.  To summarize there are 5 lines based on the 5 character attributes.  Each line contains 5 skills that can be leveled up to rank 8.  You must get to at least rank 4 in order to get the next skill in the line.  The final skill in each line is an "uber" skill that will cost 8 points and cannot be leveled up.  Each character will have 50 points max.  The first scout skill is pickpocket, and it opens up the 5 lines.  Pickpocket can be used on humanoid NPC's and draws from a loot table that is separate from what they would normally drop.  The str line is this:</div><div> </div><div>Strength of Blackguard (1)</div><div> -Increases strength</div><div>Torporous Strike (2)</div><div> -Increases recovery time of target</div><div>Self Preservation (3)</div><div> -Increases defensive skills</div><div>Torpid Feedback (4)</div><div> -Enemies who hit you may have casting time increased</div><div>Traumatic Swipe (5)</div><div> -Increases reuse timer on spells and abilities of target</div><div> </div><div>Agility line will look something like this:</div><div> </div><div>Deftness (1)</div><div> -Increases agility</div><div>Calculated riposte (2)</div><div> -Riposte all frontal attacks for a short time</div><div>Buccaneer's stride (3)</div><div> -Increase in combat runspeed</div><div>Buccaneer's haste (4)</div><div> -Increases attack speed</div><div>Rapidity (5)</div><div> -Decreases time on your reuse timers</div><div> </div><div>There are also three other lines based on STA, INT, and WIS that he did not go into.  With 50 points to spend you would basically be able to max out two complete lines, or you could choose to spread your points out into other lines if you wanted to be less focused.  Well that is basically the gist of what he said about abilities, just figured those who hadn't see this yet would like the info.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div>Thanks for taking the time to put that together, I certainly appreciated it.</div><div> </div><div>It looks like what boils down to a build system, which personally I really liked about WoW. <em>"What type of Class X are you?" </em>Is something I find appealing.</div>

<div></div><div>I  hope the wisdom and int lines are swanky, breaking the mold of what a scout should be and providing some really useful abilities.</div><div> </div><div>Come to consider it, the wisdom line will probably have a cure poison ... hrm</div>

<div>Yeah, we will definately have some hard (but in a good way) choices to make about how to specialize.</div>
