<div><font face="Verdana" color="#009966">I am currently a 60 swashy and in all have been happy with my characters performance as I find it a fun class to play. Thru my travels in the game I am always checking out other characters gear and set ups, especially the swashy's i come across although we are few and far between. My understanding was always agility is the most important stat followed by str and sta. I am a half elf with a good T6 gear, not neccessarily the best since I haven't done much T6 raiding yet, but and cobalted out with 4 pcs of fabled gear from PP and the roost. As I stand with rings active my agil is 318 str 253 sta 134 wis at 26 intel at 42 avoidance is 32.7. I realize i can get better gear and will as time goes on, but am I set up in an ideal way or not? I always wondered and see some swashy's set up like me and some much more balanced ...even having strength as a higher stat. Any feedback will be helpful.....</font></div><div><font face="Verdana" color="#009966"></font> </div><div><font face="Verdana" color="#009966">Tezeric Lvl 60 Swashy</font></div><div><font face="Verdana" color="#009966">The Butcherblock</font></div>

<div>I go all str and then agi as second, Dual wielding prismatics I sit on about 410 self buffed str, and about 300 agi. Hard hits and big power pool are what I shoot for.</div>

<div></div>Does this mean you guys don't care about Wis? I was thinking Wis over sta at higher leve since spell resist... Just hit 38 last night so my current goal is Agi > str > sta > wis, but I was thinking around 50 str > agi > wis > sta would be better.

<div>Str and Agi should be a scouts focus, Higher STR means harder hits with melee and CAs, and agi gives avoidance and power pool.</div>

<div>My preferance is str -> agi -> wis (for resists) -> sta. Wis comes before sta because I don't tank often. I'll pull up my stats when I get home, don't know them off the top of my head.</div>

for me str-agi-intive noticed that in groups where i can get +100 int my dmg from poison goes from 436 to a little over 500 (ive had as high as 550) to me thats more of an impact for our bread and butter dps.as far as wisdom goes i think youll get more of a benifit by just getting some resist gear(good quests in t6 for it). most aoe in T6 that i have seen have been heat, poison, or cold.<div></div>

<div></div><p>So strength seems to be favored...interesting.....I have heard int helps proc poison so i guess that is verified here as well.....ty guys</p><p> </p>

<div>i sit at 407 str and 387 agi i dont pay much attention to the others stats but if i had a pick it wpuld be int. this is due to as a previous poster said, higher proc dmg.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div></div><p>K, I understand whole "Int is more damage" idea but if you resist more aoe spells, healer can actually heal people who needs heals.</p><p>ie. Ranger when they agro mobs</p><p> </p><p>I guess I'm old fashion "best offense is good defense" mentality.</p>

<div></div><p>I've focused on STR > AGI > STA, but always keeping WIS as a valid consideration for 3rd spot -- not rich enough to pick and choose exactly what armour I want anyway, so mainly it's STR and AGI plus whatever I can get. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>WIS is good for resists as long as your STA isn't so low that stray AEs can one-shot you. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Better to be able to absorb the hit and take a heal than play russian roulette with AEs. WIS usually ends up being a little more redundant in group and solo situations, too. So, between that and carting resist gear around anyway, STA usually gets preference.</p>
<div></div><blockquote><hr>Geero wrote:<div></div><p>ie. Ranger when they agro mobs</p><p></p><hr></blockquote>if a ranger can't control his aggro, let him die, he will never learn otherwise, they get a 55% aggro dampener, it's not a proc, just reduces hate by 55%, oh, and it works off both hands and ranged.

<div></div><div></div><p>After some testing on raids...</p><p>STR is definatly on first place for harder hits.</p><p>Then goes... INT! Adeste Disruption makes 420 dd with int ~30. (procs for around ~500 with all debuffs). And with INT ~300 (max i could get) it description dd is about 600 and it procs for around 800 with all debuffs on. We tested this with our assasin, and his poison miti debuff. If we would also use debuff poison for poison/decease miti, then i believe we could get even higher procs. As we calculated, with int around 400 and all debuffs we could probably get procs for around 1k damage. There is a lot of potential in this imo, but due to KOS coming out soon and poison changes, its all very uncertain.</p><p>And third is - STA. it helps me to survive lame aoe. we dont have avoid like brigands after all.</p><p>Message Edited by Dark_Sun on <span class="date_text">01-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:05 AM</span></p>

<div></div>Yes, Int makes a huge difference in procs. Wis makes a huge difference in resist but, you can only really concentrate on 2 things mostly with a 3rd being down there so, as a Swash, the most important is STR, then AGI and then STA. STR makes a huge difference in our CAs and autoattack and that is where most of our damage is. The AGI for the avoidance and the STA so you can live through a hit or 2 when the mob turns on you.

<div>I find that More str. more dmg, more sta. more health, more agi. more power... so wisdom and intel is poitnless for rogues</div><div>especially if your pushing about 390 str 340 agi and 285 sta <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>the misnamed swash....chaosranger of toxx <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>
