<div>Been looking at rolling a Fury or a Shaman on my wife's account to duo with my shiny new Swashbuckler.</div><div>Anyone have a reason why one healer class is "best" to duo with a swashy?</div><div>The offensive/agi buff of a Fury appeals to me on first glance, but the Shaman slows/debuffs make a huge difference in mob dmg output.</div>

<div></div>I would have to say that a Mystic would be a good choice. Brother just starting playing one and a wizard duo. Their slows are insane he tanks with his wizard.

<div>Defiler's heal directly more than a Mystic, but a Mystic can ward more. Mystic's have more slows where as Defilers have more Stat Debuffs and Poison/Disease Mit debuffs.</div>

<div></div><p>Something not mentioned already is Mystic's buff group members for Strength and stamina as well.</p><p>I duo mystic and swashy.  Just ward the swashy up and cast avatar (permanent buff + 51 agil, Strength and stamina at adept 3 you get it high 40's if i remember.)</p><p>We duo yellow ^^^ mobs fairly well.  Mystic just spams wards , debuff mob and the odd heal.</p>

<div></div><div>A RL friend an I rolled up a new set of character.  We are currently in our low 20's.  This post is more about the group HO's than which healing class to group with.  I wanted to state how difficult it is to do group HO's with a Rogue/Healer combo.  Since 2 of the 3 HO's need back or flank attack for the rogue and the healer can't keep agro to save his life.  LOL</div><div> </div><div>Not complaining.  Just an observation.</div><p>Message Edited by Klantic5 on <span class="date_text">02-04-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:18 PM</span></p>

Correct me if I"m wrong, but hangmans noose and disable (the two snare lines) should use the cloak icon as well.<div></div>

<div></div><div></div><p>I'd personally duo a swashbuckler with a Pally, I duo with Guardians a lot and we can take some impressive stuff down, add a little self healing and warding to the mix and you have a great duo.  If you really want a healer type you need one that buffs the best.  Swashies have great debuffs so you don't really need a class that debuffs really well.</p><p> </p><p>edit: ya you are right, both our snare lines are the cloak icon and can be used from the front.  Finishing it with the snare line that debuffs magic/divine resist is great since the HO does the same type of damage.</p><p>Message Edited by Dr. Unk on <span class="date_text">01-19-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:13 PM</span></p>
