<div>Hey all, need to ask you all something that has been on my mind the last few levels.</div><div> </div><div>I'm moving relatively fast through the 40's now, currently on 44 (soon to be 45).</div><div> </div><div>I have been using a serrated bone dirk and a polished granite tomahawk.</div><div> </div><div>The SBD is in my main hand (as it has a higher damage rating) but has no proc. The PGH does have a proc but it's in my off hand and it's fast becoming too low for me.</div><div> </div><div>I have seen some player made weapons that are quite nice stat/damage wise but none have procs on them...so to my question...</div><div> </div><div>If you had the choice of a medium weapon that has ok stats and a proc or a weapon that has large stats/damage but no proc..what would you choose?</div><div> </div><div>Would you have a procable weapon in the primary hand and a non proc in the off?</div><div> </div><div>Or would you perhaps have proc's in both hands?</div><div> </div><div>Comments and suggestions are most welcome.....</div><div> </div><div>Thanks</div>

By your mid-40's the PGT becomes a one-trick pony. It is not an effective auto-attack damage dealer. However it's proc (if it is still the 500pt ward) is still useful if you are playing the role of group tank. You should be replacing it however for normal damage dealing uses. You really really want to consider saving for a Pristine Imbued Ebon weapon of some sort. However, if you think you will make 50 soon, then you should set your sights on saving for Pristine Imbued Cobalt Weapons. Your PGT will be fine for grinding until you're 50th. Though possibly not solo'ing, mileage may vary. While the non-imbued weapons are nice, the proc'ing ones are that much better, and they proc very frequently, usually 2 or 3 times a fight. Hold out for the proc'ing ones if you can. You can save money by buying the components and finding a crafter willing to make them for you (for a reasonable combine fee).<div></div>
<div></div><p>Proc or no proc, I would take the highest damage rating weapon for consistant higher damage output without having to wait on procs to do a bit extra.</p><p>One thing I would suggest is, save your cash for 2 tier 6 weapons, go do "Rescuing the Greenhoods" in Zek, nice Heritage item to pair with SBD.</p><p>I currently use 2 dropped legendary weapons without procs, but both are over 40 damage rating.</p><p>Also, I'm on Najena and am happy to answer any questions in game, just pop me a /tell.</p>

<div>Thanks for the advice you two...</div><div> </div><div>I do have the Blade of Yek HQ already on the way, so I was planning on using that with my SBD till 50.</div><div> </div><div>I guess I will need to save up on the coin and splash out on some T6 weapons.</div><div> </div><div>Also Licit, thanks for the offer for a /tell. I noticed in your sig that you were in Allure and I know they are a good aussie/nz/asian guild (being NZ myself).</div><div> </div><div>Maybe you'll see me in guild one day <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>
