Has anyone heard (or have thoughts) whether they're going to be replaced every 14 levels like everything else. I'd assume so, but just wondering before I put a couple plat down on a Master of ID.

Haven't heard either way but I'd think it's unlikely... possible, but unlikely. I get the feeling those are going to remain unique CAs rather than forming new lines.

But I'm going completely based on gut instinct, no facts whatsoever! :smileytongue:

My assumptions (and you know what they say about those):ID is awarded as a normal spell, and thus I think it will be updated as other spells are upgraded at 14 level intervals (drools at prospect of Inspired daring upgrade, master 2).I will side with overflow on the ancient teachings though- they do seem to be soemthing unique and I find it hard to believe that the arts will not have been lost at the t7 level or that there happens to be an upgrade that was also hidden but not in the same place as the old level. Though I also think that it would be great if they did upgrade- god knows there is now room for a proper upgrade for huricane, and this would be a backhanded way of doing it. Unfortuantly for that sort of wishful thinking though, some classes get ancient teachings spells that cannot be be upgraded- call of heros, that sort of thing. So that does sort of rule out the upgrade path on those.

My guess is the Ancient teachings will be one-offs, a bit like the specials from Bloodlines and Splitpaw.

Yea, our ancient teaching can now be upgraded. Maybe at level 70 but, I wouldn't count on it.

Yea, skills like Brigands AOE which is the best it can be now. Avoid ALL AOE all the time. Can't get any more powerful than that. Along with other Ancient teachings from other classes.

Why they picked ours to butcher, no idea.

It would make sense then to have the Ancient Teaching skills to scale according to our level (not sure if they do now, as I haven't even hit lvl 51 yet). It would make sense for them NOT to upgrade and just have it so they scale. Basically this was just curiousity of what everyone thought and an attempted to get my posts up. I'm assuming that we'll get similiar skills in the T7 as well which is cool.
