HI guys I have these questions for a long time but I finally had time to write them down and ask for your assistances: 1: after LU18, what kind of weapon shall I equipt in Primary hand? a 1.2 sec delay or a longer delay weapon? Which one can proc poison or the imbued weapon proc more in a limited time? Reason that I am asking is that I have always been using a leafblade type of weapon, due to its high damage and we have some attackspeed buff, however we also have daring spell that in a short time deals extra damage on a successful attack, so almost seems that the shorter the delay is the more damage you will do. also we got huricane, is shorter delay weapon better cause you hit encounter faster and has a better chance of triger poison on other targets you are facing? 2: on our sneaking spell called snoop, the description says grant stealth to caster and grant see stealth to caster. well I never can see stealth with that skill, is it a bug or some update took the ability away from us or its a typo that rouges are not supposed to see anything in stealth. The reason I ask is that Predators are granted the ability to detect invised enemy and almost seems like rouges are supposed to be grated the ability to detect stealth (hidden) enemy while in stealth. 3: due to we have ability to rapidly increase threat and decrease threat, we play a role of agro management in a group, we can also do some limited tanking in a group as well. When I am tanking, shall I use a buckler and a 1h weapon? or just 2 DW weapon? The reason I ask is that it almost seems pointless if we can equipt a shield and we will never need to use it. Even when you are solong do you use a buckler and a 1h weapon at all? I have never tried. Thanks for answering those noob questions for me. Happy New Year.

Doesnt really matter too much, id go with faster weapon now if you want to proc poison. Swash burst DPS sucks now so well i dunno, any weapon is fine lol. Thats how SoE cares about making the game so that is how i care about my toon lol.

SoE totalitraian system has you.. muahah

1. To achieve the most procs off Inspired Daring, even with it only procing off the main hand, you will want to equip the fastest weapon in your main hand.

2. see stealth on snoop is broken and has been for many months

3. I always dual wield, solo, grouped, tanking and raiding, I never ever use a shield for any reason

For the most part, you are vastly better off letting a REAL tank do the tanking. That allows you to unleash your CAs, doing massive damage, without being interrupted by mobs beating on you.

If I can't find a group with a good REAL tank, I solo. If I'm going to get beaten on anyway, I might as well get all the rewards.

Dual-wield forever, weapon-&-shield NEVER!!!!!

On autoattack alone, all weapons will proc at approximately the same rate -- weapon delay and wield type make no difference. If you're using CAs, longer delay weapons generally achieve slightly better proc rates over time due to CAs delaying autoattack.

The only time you really want/need a faster weapon is for ID. Since only the mainhand procs now, weapon delay matters far less for ID than it did before -- you'll use ID most efficiently if you spam CAs during it.

Moreso than ever before, weapon delay makes fairly little difference to swashbucklers overall. Longer delay weapon for slightly higher proc rates during regular combat, lower delay weapon for slightly better ID performance. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. Personally I'm still not a fan of leafblades because they don't feel very roguely, but it really is down to personal preference now.

See stealth... I think my character is broken (in a beneficial way): everyone else here says See Stealth on Snoop is broken. Personally I seem to get See Stealth/Invis all the time, without using Snoop and with no see-invis item equipped and without group buffs. Is that just me? Never really bothered to investigate.

Message Edited by overfloater on 01-04-2006 09:33 AM

It's all over, anywhere from NQ to MajDul, but you're probably right that it's "green con" PCs that I'm seeing, I'd forgotten it worked like that. I never duel so it's not something I've ever really paid attention to!
