<DIV>I'm curious if anyone else has done what I've done. I spent about 80g buying the highest STR mod items I could find for my Barbarian Swashy and at level 36 I've been able to hit 200 STR fully buffed and fed. I do know its really nice doing the amount of damage I do. Example, my Master Strikes Max at over 1050 now at level 36. I havent even seen any fighters with over a 140 STR in the groups I've been in recently. Some of the other scout types I've talked to start in on me telling me I need more AGI (mine is 110 now) and I just cant see spending that much effort on AGI when I only get hit in a solo fight 2-3 times at the most, and miss my own swings less often than that. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else done max'd their STR? How is it working out for you? What is the cap anyways? </DIV>

<DIV>need agi for power and avoidance. instead of decking myself out in str gear, i just spend all my cash on buying all the master spells that are swamping the brokers. have about 20 or so masters that range from 3-35.</DIV>

<P>I have been raid buffed to 499 STR, does some really nice damage and gives a nice boost to attack rating, I haven't concentrated on STR gear, however have STR doll, STR imbued ring, and a couple STR items where they are normally INT or WIS as standard for the item slot.</P> <P>My base STR is 306, self buffed</P>

why are you worried about agi on raids? it only effect avoid, and your not tanking... and if the mob does turn on you, you can only take a couple 2500 dmg hits... in fact i can usually go about 85% the whole raid and never get agro and im not in the main tank group... if it comes to teh point where my agi is going to make or break a raid then its already over....... <div></div>

<DIV><FONT color=#ffff00>I know AGI is for power and Avoidance, the only time I run out of power is if I run out of drink and the tank is pulling new mobs soon after we defeat the last mobs. Avoidance isnt an issue, against most solo encounters I rarely get hit more than a couple times and when i'm grouping I have been really goo about not stealing aggro and never get hit. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00>Fighters have been the strongest class historically speaking. My Monk has a very high STR too, and I could tell a big difference in his solo capability when I updated his equipment to almost double his STR a few levels ago. But the Swashy is still stronger.... go figure... :smileysurprised:</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Volcomstone1259 - <FONT color=#ffff00>Go ahead and roll a swashy alt. Swashies kill much faster than the Monks, they dont take a beatin as well but dont need to. Last check I made at lvl 31 the Monk was ding 120-130 dps and the Swashy was doing 170-180. After playing he Swashy I get impatient with my Monk it takes so long for him to kill things, I have the same problem with my Warlock, cant stand waiting 4 seconds for the spells to go off.....</FONT> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Licit wrote-  We are DPS? <div>I recently decided to increase my strength and have noticed a huge performance increase. However, I prefer to be well rounded.</div><div> </div><div>I have high mitigation+high str+moderate agility gear, I also have a 1hander with agility and a shield in a backpack for those all DPS groups that force me to tank... ugh... tanking as a swashy... bad... but sometimes needed! ^^</div><div> </div><div>Seeing all the numbers you guys pump out kind of makes me feel super inferior... I inspect every scout I see usually and I have better str and agi 95% of the time (scouts of my lvl ofcoarse!)... and still you all put me to shame! lol</div>
