<DIV>I am a 35 Swashy and was looking for some feedback from others around that level.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was just wondering if anyone useing Combatstats has some DPS numbers in group.</DIV> <DIV>My fights, I range from mid 50's to mid 70's depending on how long it takes the Tank to spin the mob off the wall so I can get behind him. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have just started to compile DPS numbers against other scout classes again. I did it for awhile in my teens and again in my twenties and they seemed to have it pretty well balanced at that time. The Rangers and Assasins would have a good spike every few fights when their big hitters where up but for the most  part overall we were pretty close.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When started again last night logging grp DPS it seems now in the 30's we are falling behind big time in DPS.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The example I have is a Assasin lvl 33 to me at lvl 35.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I got smoked. Not by a little , and not just on fights when his Assasins Blade was up. He was averageing around 90DPS and over 100 on fights with Assasins Blade.</DIV> <DIV>(Which by the way is just [Removed for Content] insane damage, He was hitting with that between 500-900) Now all my skills I use are either App4's or better and most are  Adept1. And my Gear is white or better. with Orange weapons.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am gonna spend more time i this since I just started doing it agin last night but was looking to seeif anyone else has some numbers. But the comfort I used to have in thinking that although we dont get those BIG hits our over all DPS was around the same sine our skills recycle faster is starting to fade after last night..........</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>My dps is about 90-130 a second depending on the mob at level 46. Just spam attacks over and over. Usually highest damage output in any group - I use Combat Stats. Aggro isn't much problem for me.</DIV>

<DIV>Same here......Im in groups with combat stats quite often. I am usually at top of list.....been with Rangers and Assassins alot and I typically outdamage them even when they are 1-2 levels higher.</DIV>

Varies wildly for me. I was in Cazic Thule (at 42nd) doing 120-130dps consistantly, only being outdamaged by the 42nd warlock. I was wiping the floor with a 41st assassin (80dps).On the same hand, I was in Ruins of Varsoon last night wrapping up quests and only doing 70dps against grey mobs. Getting tied for output by the Guardian and Paladin. So much depends on group buffs, mobs, mob debuffs, etc. Hard to pin down my average.

I am level 33, and killing lvl 33 golems and tempered clays in ROV I was between 95 and 109.9 ( yes I remember because I about crapped my pants) dps. The assassin I was with was averaging about 70-80. Ranger was doing...well...lets just not talk about the waste of a class right now. My friend who is lvl 47swash is doing 130+dps, I'm sure i can beat that when I get up to level 47.

<DIV><FONT size=2>Often between 80 and 100 with occasional spikes above and below that. This was at level 38 with average gear (yellow w/ some white/blue), yellow poison, and CAs at Adept 1 or App IV.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=2>It does change (upward) significantly if there is signficant debuffing of the monsters.</FONT></DIV>

level 34. Today was fighting yellow ^^ group mobs. Those uhh ugly rat things in EL. When i really went all out i would average 100dps. (92-108 ish).. pulled a name and i did everything i possibly could and hit 126dps.Main key for me is having nice crafted T5 poisons. =D

<DIV>It's not a rant, in fact I'm a Swashie and I'm really liking the class but...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Have you noticed that in every dps forum the posters of that specific class always claim to do the highest damage of their groups?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's either we never get to group together or someone is lieing <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>WEEEIRD!</DIV>

<DIV>I'll just add my odd observation.  May not reflect anything real though...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was in a group in RE.  I think I was 32 at the time.  Grouped with a 33 assassin.  He liked running the combat stats each figth to show how uber he was.  There was also a mage type in the group, but I don't recall the class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In most fights, I was usually number 2 or 3 in DPS.  Depended a lot on how quickly and efficiently I got into combat.  This is exactly where I expected to be as the tank was several levels higher and could do some real damage too.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But, for some reason, in every single fight against a red-con mob, I came in at number 1.  Usually by big margins too (2-to-1 in one fight).  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have no explanation for it, nor do I know if it's repeatable.  But, that night in that group, it happened every time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lunette</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Gwen, it might be that the "red" fights were a bit longer, the Assassin and Mage, due to having a higher lvl tank and running a parser, going full out from start. A Swash have a lot of medium dmg skills on fairly short timers so ouer dps will stay pretty much the same from start to end of power. Using combatstats I often se (looking at done dmg) other classes starting out with more dmg then me, but at the end of the fight Im the one with most dmg done.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Other things that can make a huge difference is when grp has a hard time hitting the mob (due to mob beeing high lvl) and you use a self buff upping your attack skill and start hitting it as normal.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I'm level 42, wielding SBD and PGT. I have the 3% haste ring.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I'm goofing around, serfing the net and looking up quests it can be as low as 30-40DPS.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I'm actually trying hard and fully buffed I usually do 75 -130DPS depending on the mob and the legth of the fight. I do a LOT less damage during short fights because of the amount of time I spend casting buffs right at the begining. It prolly takes me 5-10sec to get all my short-term buffs going so if its less than a 45sec fight I'm a lot less effective. Where-as, if it's a raid mob like that nasty watcher thing in the Catacombs, My DPS will be very high and sustain well throughout the fight.</DIV>
