<DIV> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>I am a Kerra Healer and I have a confession to make.<SPAN>  </SPAN>I, am an addict.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>It all started out so innocent, meeting that Collector on the Isle of Refuge, finding a feather or two.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>I suppose the first signs of addiction became obvious when I began hunting in the Peat Bog, spending hours tailoring bigger and better bags to carry more bones.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>Soon after, I travelled to Antonica, and there my addiction began to spiral out of control.<SPAN>  </SPAN>No longer content with the bags that I had pain stakingly crafted I began spending all my hard earned gold on huge sacks to enable me to carry even more.<SPAN>  </SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>Seeing that beautiful sparkle in the distance became my reason for living – forsaking food and water I would scour the wilderness looking for just one more glimmer, destroying all that stood in my way.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>Things came to a peak when I was travelling with companions through Blackburrow, sneaking step by step closer to that aggro mob, eyes focussed completely on the shiny object right at their feet, knowing that I was tempting fate but unable to resist the lure of the light.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>My friends tried to get me help, but I couldn’t see my own addiction, so obsessed was I with my shinies.<SPAN>  </SPAN>But finally in one horrific battle, I was forced to recognise my problem.<SPAN>  </SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>My companions and I were fighting a huge heroic mob, barely having time to breath in between casting – and yet, out of the corner of my eye I could see a glimmer… another shiny.<SPAN>  </SPAN>The temptation was great, knowing that to try for the shiny would mean certain death for myself and my group, but still the shimmer called to me… I began to turn toward it, unable to resist… saved only by the quick thinking actions of my friend the Beserker, who kindly smashed me in the face to snap me out of it.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>When the dust settled and the mob was obliterated my shiny was gone – and I was left to face what I had almost done.</FONT></SPAN></P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3></FONT></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN><FONT size=3>My name is Scarrs, and I, am a shinies addict.</FONT></SPAN></P></DIV>

<P>LOL good stuff.</P> <P>I too had an issue with the shinies and ran in front of many tanks in a dungeon crawl just to be 1 step ahead of the competition. I caused many adds over the years, but i was finally cured when trying to pick that first shiney in Nektropous Castle 3. <DIV>They say the first step is admitting you have a problem and an embarassing episode last night made me see the truth.....I, too, am a shiny addict</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was harvesting for rares in TS last night and saw a shiny out of the corner of my eye.  As I was heading towards it, a nearby lion started running in the same direction.  I panicked and nearly attacked the poor creature before I remembered that...<STRONG>NPCs cannot collect shinies!</STRONG>  DOH!!!!!</DIV>

Maybe i should lvl some here 2 years on the same toon and only lvl 59. If i lvl then the mobs will be grayed out and i get get all of the shinneys that i want.</DIV> <DIV>*Ponders this corse of action*</DIV> <DIV>Oh look another shinney poped and it should be out of agro range. Wootz!! Screw lvling look at off the shinnies out there for me to gather.</DIV>
