"Valour, Justice, Honour and Faith. Our eternal duty, our eternal curse!" Visit: http://www.welshrogue.co.uk/theblade/ for the concept page. The Order of the Broken Blade is currently in concept, however we have our concept now wrapped up and ready, we are still investigating the value of this type of guild to the community (think market research). I'll open by saying that this Order is not for the light hearted. It is designed with a strong take on adding role playing atmosphere to the members with everything else being secondary. We have not simply bundled together a good sounding name and come up with a generic concept of "We fight for good and the defence of the lands of Qeynos". We have gone further and reached into the very cracks of role playing to draw out all the fun and good parts and brought them into one guild. We have gone for Harsh but fair. The Guild has some restrictions, but we feel that those that truely want a good Role Playing atmosphere to play with will enjoy this guild and while our methods seem unauthodox, they have proven to work and add an extra spark of role playing life to the game. For those who are new to role playing, or even long time veterans, if you have yet to find that role playing life, that feeling that your character is real and that you are living out your life in this world, then we hope to bring that life to our members. The Order of the Broken Blade has been designed using real life concepts and truthfull workings of orders of similar layout. We have built it on a traditional Dark Ages Knighthood, similar to the Knights Templar, the Teutonic Knights and the Knights Hospitaller of StJohn. We have taken the reality of those orders and merged them with the fictional backing of Everquest II. Our aim is to make members feel that they are truely a part of a living breathing Knighthood. Where the title 'Knight' is not just a rank, but it is a symbol of meaning. Where it actually means somthing to achieve that level. I'll say no more here as most of what I wish to say is written on the concept page above. However, I do want feedback, opinions and even suggestions if you will. The Guildmasters which are Ffion (myself) and Tauthal are eager to hear what people have to say. Also feel free to ask any questions, we more then welcome them *smiles* Regards, Lady Ffion Derwyn
