<DIV>I've been out of the game for about 6 months and have just returned to find the ground shaking seemingly at random. Did I miss something while I was gone? What is causing the earthquakes?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>

The Brell Serillis quest in Antonica infront of Blackburrow, every time someone finishes the quest the ground stakes all over the place.<div></div>

<DIV>Actually they seem to be random, but they'll stop when EoF goes live.</DIV>

They might add a few for more flavor, but I was running through EL and my gf was doing the Brell quest and when she finished it the ground was trembling at both places.<div></div>

<DIV>Well of course. The ground shakes the whole game over. even in Kingdom of Sky.</DIV>

So if these ground rumblings do not appear when you complete the quest, who is to say it has anything to do with Brell? The Brell prophet and followers seemed to discover something they did not expect during the ritual in the quest line. I think there is something else (under)afoot.<div></div>

<div></div><div><blockquote><hr>Cusashorn wrote:<div>Well of course. Sure, they happen quite a bit while I'm down on Norrath. But considering how often my guild raids T7 content, I am sure by now I would have felt at least one by now if they were happening in KoS as well. <shrug> Not really important either way.As for the shakes themselves. I don't know if some extra quakes are thrown in for fun, but I know when I completed the quest. The world shook. When my g/f completed the quest. The world shook. So I would go with the idea that everytime someone completes the quest the world shakes. <span>:smileywink:Edit - Considering its been a long night, I did have a idea about what you said Cusa. Its very likely that the quakes are on a timer before they can be triggered again. That way you don't experience a large amount of quakes all of a sudden when a party of 6 completes the quest. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span></font></div><p>Message Edited by TheManInTheBox on <span class=date_text>11-11-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:18 AM</span>

<P>When the quest first went live on test, it literally happened every time a character completed the quest (so you can imagine how annoying it was when three people or so did it together!).  They quickly changed it so that all of Norrath would only shake once an hour or so, upon completion of the quest.  IE, if I were to complete the quest, and the entire world shook, no one else could make the entire world shake for at least an hour afterwards.  However, each individual shakes upon completion of the quest.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

I was the 2nd person on Kithicor to finish it. I saw people go up and finish the quest dozens of times and there was only an earthquake for maybe 1 out of 5 people.
