Two Factions?

They call themselves Quellithulians -- the name comes from the two opposing cities, Paineel and Erudin, allying and setting apart any difference they have (such as one following Quellius, one following Cazic Thule -- thus the name) -- and they are the ones responsible for re-activating the Ulteran spires.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Someone posted this in a previous thread but if i remember correctly the erudites in HoF, Labs etc are allied with the Awakened but when the erudites on norrath completed the spires Lord Vyemm sent his champions too destroy them, so clearly theres two different factions at work here with two very opposing agendas.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any ideas?<BR></DIV>

<DIV>The Quellithulians are what the Erudites native to Odus call themselves. The Gate Callers on Norrath are not aware of the Quellithulians in the Overrealm. All of them want to return to Odus, and one Quellithulian even tricks you and does just that, but that doesn't mean the race all over the world is still united together like the Cazicites of Paineel and citizens of Erudin did when they performed the ritual that transformed thier entire race into what you see today.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, they didn't send the dragons down to necissarily destroy just the Gate Callers. They just wanted to prevent the mortals from gaining access to the overrealm so they could continue thier plans without interuption.
