I have been soo busy the last 2 month I have not been able to check somethings out ingame and was wondering and hoping some fellow lore fanatics and help me answer some things about the KoS expansion.Question 1: From what i hear there is a dragon in the TT raid Instance...Is there and what its over all mission purpose. I heard some whispers its different from the rest??/9temple of scale i believe srry)2. The two dragon in PoA. I killed them plenty of times but are they up to anything like the rest of the dragons?3. And what do the aviaks play in it all. They just fighting among the 3 subraces or do the eagle types follow the two dragon.4. The erudites in the vualt. From what i remember someone mentioned they were asked to do some experiaments and there from odus...anything new on them recently??5. Mark of the awakening.. Ufortuanlly was run through and was not able to read the overall story line...forgot to turn my logs on <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> anyone tell me what the over all story is and is the mark part of it or just an overall reward for it??6. halls of fate. Fun zone but any significant lore behind it...especially since there is a non dragon type named in there..whats he or she roll in there.7. I read about lord vymm, but theres tarnax in i am guessing deathtoll right. Is there anything else to him besides uniting the dragon in KoS to go kill everyone in norrath??8. Almost forgot, what about sactuem of fear(yup meant lycuem oops) in TT. By TT raid instance (with a dragon), you must mean Venekor, in Halls of Seeing. This is his 'newest' hideout, after being defeated by adventurers two times on Norrath.2. No clue on this one.3. The aviaks chose to side with the dragons, in any upcoming battle for Norrath.4. The erudites from Vaults, Halls of Fate, and Vyemm's Lab, are all from Odus. They call themselves Quellithulians -- the name comes from the two opposing cities, Paineel and Erudin, allying and setting apart any difference they have (such as one following Quellius, one following Cazic Thule -- thus the name) -- and they are the ones responsible for re-activating the Ulteran spires.5. The Mark of Awakening is a 'rite of passage' among the dragons. It is significant when your character receives this, as most Droag do not, despite their ferocity.6. The Halls of Fate are the upper levels of Vyemm's Lab; Vyemm and his Doomwing legion practice experiments there, trying to (rumor?) create the ultimate droag, as seen with the Alzids.7. Vyemm is merely one of the 4 dragons who have opposing views on whether or not to invade Norrath.Tarinax has a much longer story, one that I'm not entirely familiar with. However, now, he is simply the guardian of Deathtoll, the Awakened's vault for their relics.8. By the Sanctum of Fear, I am assuming you mean the Lyceum of Abhorrence. That is actually a 'retreat' that was used by the droags following Harla Dar, until it was overrun by Cazic's minions. You are sent by a Droag loyal to Harla to erradicate the amygdalans within.How or why the amygdalans got to the Fear-tainted Isle, I don't know.</div>

Which raid instanced are you talking about? There are two zones that I can think of 1 being the Temple of Scale the other being the raid zone with Venekor in it. 2. The two dragon in PoA. They dragons maybe serving the wises of the two dragons that reside within the Barren Sky in the Ascent of the Awakening. From their tags they say "Adjuant" which may mean an overseer *the spelling maybe wrong*. 3. And what do the aviaks play in it all. They just fighting among the 3 subraces or do the eagle types follow the two dragon. The plan of the aviaks I believe is to rule over the overrealm claiming what they believe to be rightfully theirs. The Aviaks, Vultaks and Hooluks I believe once lived in harmony with us but when the overrealm split they started fighting. 4. The erudites in the vualt. The vault of El'rad deals with teleportation research if i'm not mistaken with alot of Quethulians. Unfortunately I don't know alot behind them but there maybe a piece of information from another Erudite. I think his name is Que'zarr of the Quethulians *will check spelling* who helped with the spire constructions. 5. Mark of the awakening.. Unfortunately I don't know alot about this subject myself so it is hard to say anything about it. It revolves around the Exiled Droag and how he wanted more power however failed in his attempts. Another key part is you follow the cataloged knowledge from an erudite learning how to accomplish the Mark Trials. 6. halls of fate. Fun zone but any significant lore behind it...especially since there is a non dragon type named in there..whats he or she roll in there. This is another zone I tried to get lore on myself but I don't know too much about it. The only thing i'm certain about is the fact the upper part is where the droags are mainly situated with 1 dragon overseer Sothis. As for the Lower part it is the Labratory of Lord Vymn where he has many guards stationed. 7. I read about lord vymm, but theres tarnax in i am guessing deathtoll right. There is much more to the story than Tarinax and Lord Vymn and my best suggestion is to look around at the other posts. There are the 4 dragons within the Overrealm two in BS, one in TT and 1 in the bonemire. Death Toll is the Dragon Necropolis in which Tarinax resides I guess as a body guard. There is also alot of lore behind Tarinax and how the leader of the awakened is Kerafyrm the mighty prismatic dragon of EQ1. 8. Almost forgot, what about sactuem of fear(yup meant lycuem oops) in TT. Whats the story behind that. For the Lycenium or sanctum of fear I have no clue but I could guess it is a staging area. It maybe a summoning place where the Thulian Dread Knights or Amgydalians *sp* have gathered to ressurect their god of fear. I hope this isn't too much... i frequent the boards here and honestly can't remember if any of these questions were answer srry if i repeated something. The other group felt they had to resist and fight back against the dragons trying to enslave them. This group were led by a mysterious being refered to as simply 'the Flock', this group may have been made up of many representatives of the different types of aviaks, but it included all of the Spiroc aviaks. This second group lost the war and seem to have just disappeared, whether they fled to another part of the Overrealm, returned to Norrath, or were simply all killed, hasn't yet been revealed. I believe the Hooluks have remained basically neutral throughout all this 4. The erudites in the vualt. From what i remember someone mentioned they were asked to do some experiaments and there from odus...anything new on them recently??These are the Quelithulians, the organization of good and evil erudites who built a fortress-shrine in the Stonebrunt Mountains of Odus, where they performed the ritual that is responsible for the erudite's current appearance. The Gatecallers that helped rebuild the spires are actually the conjuror's guild of the city of Erudin, which probably explains why it looked like the spires were being summoned in rather than being built.When I heard that the Quelithulians were in KoS, I was positive that Odus was going to be expansion #3, Faydwer caught me a bit by surprise5. Mark of the awakening.. My best theory is that since the Overrealm used to be another plane, that it might somehow be easier for other planar creatures to teleport there rather than to the surface of Norrath<hr></blockquote><div></div>

His purpose isn't really different than the other dragons in the Cult of the Awakened, but he does have some skeletons in his closet. He helped out the Awakened by enslaving the Froglok race for use in their experiments. However, he's a bit of a kleptomaniac and he's stolen lots of things from several dragons... hence why he hides in the back of the Halls of Seeing and employs mindless golems to guard his chambers... he's afraid if any of the other dragons find out that secret, he'll be kicked outta the Awakened. 2. The two dragon in PoA. I killed them plenty of times but are they up to anything like the rest of the dragons? They're after the same goal the others are... domination and dominion over Norrath. Unfortunately, Gorenaire and Talendor can't put their differences aside, and they bicker back and forth quite a bit. Gorenaire herself was responsible for stealing the Qeynos Claymore, which is the driving event behind the main KoS quest line. 3. And what do the aviaks play in it all. They just fighting among the 3 subraces or do the eagle types follow the two dragon. The Aviaks used to live in harmony. There are 3 sub-cultures... the Hooluks, who are still friendly and want to see the end of the aviak hostility... the Vultaks, who are basically an unorganized crime syndicate fighting for control of the Overrealm... .and the eagle-like Aviaks, who used to be a noble race... they had domain over the Palace of the Awakened, but a faction (the Blacktalon) broke off and sided with the Dragons. Along with the dragons, the Blacktalon clan took over the Palace, and now they fight as allies to the Cult of the Awakened. 4. The erudites in the vualt. El'Arad was experimenting with teleportation in order to get back to the continent of Odus. The dragons (namely, Kerafyrm) employed him to find a way to transport him somewhere... possibly wherever he's disappeared to... in exchange for something... note that none of this is 100% confirmed. 5. The mark identifies those of dragon-kind who are strong enough to complete the trials to obtain it. Basically, by completing all of the trials and obtaining the Mark, you are proving that you are a match for the Cult of the Awakened.... kinda like saying, "Hey nasty Droag/Dragon, I'm not afraid of you... look what I've got!" "*gasp* How ever did you obtain the Mark of the Awakened?! Now I must rethink my offer to fight you. Wait no... don't attack me!!! I'M NOT WORTHY!!!" Shadowreap has killed Lord Vyemm. Shadowreap has looted the fabled Robe of Ubah-Good-Gawd-Now!!! 6. halls of fate. Dunno a lot about the Halls of Fate, as far as what its original purpose was or anything. It's inhabited by the supporters of Lord Vyemm, however... those who do not want to wait for Kerafyrm to return and want to attack Norrath immediately. 7. You're thinking of Kerafyrm/The Sleeper... that's who united the dragons together to form the Cult of the Awakened. Tarinax is someone entirely different. There's a deep background to him... he was once the Warder, the dragon given control of the Harness, which in turn lets that dragon control the drakota. This is the same title/power that was given to Darathar. Basically, it meant he was the "police force" of the dragons. One of his duties was watching over the imprisoned Nagafen and Vox, but he made an alliance with them and was working to set them free... he was caught beforehand, and killed. Now, Kerafyrm somehow got ahold of his skeleton and reanimated it, putting it in Deathtoll as a guardian. Tarinax's soul is someplace else... possibly being held captive by the forces of the Void. If his soul and body were to be reunited, he probably wouldn't be fighting for the Cult... but rather, against it. 8. Almost forgot, what about sactuem of fear(yup meant lycuem oops) in TT. Whats the story behind that. An old base for the Cult of the Awakened.... namely, a droag training facility of sorts.
