Something weird is going on in.....

After Game Update #26 went live yesterday I went adventuring in Maj'Dul to turn in a quest and then to the Feerrott to check out the new Fear portal (which looks awesome by the way.) But anyways, there are some NPCs which look to be "tainted" in some way. They are much paler than the NPCs who dont have this on them. Also this "taint" looks like a purple cloud ontop of the NPCs heads with glowing runes on the side. Does anyone have any information about what the runes are? What event made this occur? Does it have something to do with the gods returning? Just curious if anyone else noticed this and was wondering about it as well. Maybe its something being spread across Norrath to "bring the end". I have no idea but Im really curious as to why they have this now. Any thoughts would be great.<div></div>

Oh ok cool. Thanks for the info. My assassin isnt quite high enough to go into Feerrott without being mugged so I couldnt do the quest quite yet.<div></div>
