<DIV>Does anyone know which dragon that is that is half immersed in lava between temple of solro and the big lava pit?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was thinking it was Vox, but as far as I recal, she was killed in her lair, Naggy is still alive obviously....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Not sure but I would like to know as well.  I am also curious (and I am sure someone has answered it somewhere around here) who the 2 drake corpses are in the caves.  There is one up top by the Rockpaws and another in the middle section where the Prophet guy spawns at.

<div></div>It might be a drakota, some of them were probably killed in their attack on Naggy<div></div>

<DIV>Well,  if i recall one part of lore from this section correctly...  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Najena owed a debt to Lord Nagafen, and in his hour of need the forces of Najena rose up and helped defend naggy from the Drakota forces,   its possible those other 2 drake/drakota skeletons are the remains of 2 of the ones to attack him...  (I think it was 5 or 6 in total)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm pretty sure that part of the story is that this absolved Najena of (his?/her?)  debt to him..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<blockquote><hr>Sneddle wrote:I'm pretty sure that part of the story is that this absolved Najena of (his?/her?)  debt to him..<hr></blockquote>As was said by another, it's definitely "her," but I thought this brought up another aspect: Najena and Nagafen trust one another, to an extent. If that was the repayment, then they know up to a point that when one asks for a favor, the other will return the favor eventually as well. This makes them allies, of a sort.I wonder if (hope) that will have implications later.

<DIV>I doubt it's a Drakota. They can't grow that large, and there are physical signs in the skeleton that drakota dont have (horns on the head for example)</DIV>

<P>Hmmm what races do we know if that have horns, Drake,  Sarnak,  Droag....  I don't remember those other skelly's i'll check when I get home tonight though..</P> <P>I just remembered also that there is a named mob that spawns in that Lava area right at the dragon in its skelatal structure,  I think its "Hand of Ro"  or something like that...  its a 55 ^^^ epic x2 with 4 friends.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P>.....Ssakra</P> <P>Defiler of Thulian Destiny Crew</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>It's just Solusek's Fist. Hand of Caldera is the epic encounter inside Solusek's Eye that sports the same graphic. The entity that Najena summoned to help Nagafen was the Magolemus, the triggered epic encounter up by the entrance to Solusek's Eye.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Notice that the skeleton in the lava has protruding "fingers" in the middle of its wings. Dragons do not have these... dragons have 4 legs and a pair of wings. Drakes/Drakotas have 2 legs and 2 wings with these protrusions, or "hands."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As already stated, one or two of the Drakotas that attacked Nagafen were killed by he and Najena. The ones that got away are the ones you are sent to kill in the Deception quest line to get the 5 rings that you need in order to port to the Isle of Refuge and kill Darathar (Nagafen has one of the 5 rings already, which he presumedly picked up off the corpse of the Drakota that he killed before the others got away.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, that skeleton, in essence, COULD be the skeleton of the drakota slain by Nagafen. Drakotas normally don't get that large, but in my opinion, for any drakota to pose even a minor threat to Nagafen (even five of them at once), it would have to be very powerful... moreso than the normal drakotas. The 3 that you kill as part of Deception, which are the same ones that attacked Naggy, are pretty large in their own rights. Not to say that skeleton IS the drakota... I have no clue, and unfortunately the skeleton has never been speculated upon by a dev :smileyindifferent:</DIV>

<P>Looked through some lore sites for documentation related to this dragon skeleton, </P> <P>There were no dragon skeletons in EQ1,   so I would assume that this happened within the last 500 years.</P> <P>As for those other skeletons, I'm pretty sure that those other skeletons were Drakes like in Velious in EQ1 - unless they're a dragon-kin that we have yet to encounter as yet?</P> <P> </P> <P> </P> <P>....Ssakra </P> <P>Defiler on Permafrost</P> <P><A href="http://www.tdcrew.net" target=_blank>www.tdcrew.net</A> - If your not in TDC, you must be sane.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<P>If you read the Behemoth lore section of the forums and do the little quest for the book and read it, might help shed some light on your question here.</P> <P><A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=lore&message.id=11901" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=lore&message.id=11901</A></P>

In The Cave area there are 2 skulls both which appear to be Draconic in nature but the question is were they draconic or something completely different?</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<P>i'm inclined to believe its a dragon of fire origin or severe/massive magic on the bones since they're sitting there in the lava.    If they were regular dragon bones, they'd be incinerated I would think...</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>
