I'm sure everyone has seen the goblins in EL now, one of them claiming to be a prophet.

My first thought was that it was just a Gigglegibber trying to get everyone to gamble..but well, IMO it could be he really is a prophet, maybe of Bristlebane. I mean, what better prank then to make a gambling goblin a prophet, and then turn around and have the guy be so unbelivable that no-one actually thinks he is one?

Sorry if there's a thread to this, just one of those "Oh yeah, been meaning to post this idea" situations..sure many beat me to it though,

Somehow, I doubt that's a typo.

But again..wouldn't it be cute if Bristlebane put them up to it? <chuckles>

Sure but you may as well forget Bristlebane now as the devs have stated he is not going to be in the deity list in the coming expansion. So that leaves it just as an amusing pun by the developers.. They just listed the ones that will be.

Solusek Ro is 'The Burning God'. Not just of the sun per se, but of fire and heat..the whole package. (Remember the Temple of Sol Ro from EQ1?)As a dark elf wizard that betrayed to Qeynos way back in the day, Sol Ro will be my only real choice. (Though I would like to pick Innoruuk.....sigh)
I dont know how many times this is going to have to be pointed out but if you read the prophet thread, a devloper stated THAT if your deity is not in the list, do not fret because they will likely be added in a future expansion pack/adventure pack. This is after they listed the EIGHT deities that are available.I am not sure what part of this people don't understand but the belief that they only listed eight and more worshipable deities will be available in Echoes is rather blown out of the water when the developer point out that others will be added 'later' (hence in future packs). The quote can be found around midway through the monster thread and the devs actually REFERRED to Bristlebane and Karana there. Hence Bristlebane is not going to be there come Echoes of Faydwer and that really is that. He will however likely be there in a nice bitesize adventure pack come early 2007 (estimate) along with Karana and who knows who else.

Ruler of the elemental plane of fire and Sol Ro's dear old dad.

Lyriel, best look at the date on the two posts. Where they say they have not announced the gods was written prior to when they announced the gods. Small wonders chronilogical order does
