Greetings.Scott Hartsman did an interview over at MMORPG.com.....but for some reason the pics they put on that webpage are of Highhold Keep.I don't recall if anything has been posted about the Keep and what has happened to it since The Shattering, so I guess this is a good a time as any to ask.Is Highhold still standing?  Is it hidden away behind some mountains waiting to be rediscovered?  Or did it sink into the ocean never to be seen again?T<div></div>

looks pretty close to EQ2 fonts on the signs....  but that doesn't really mean anything I suppose.<div></div>

<DIV>Yeah, Vhalen has hinted that Highkeep may still exist along with many other intentionally-left-uncharted islands in the area of what used to be the Serpentspine Mountains for the benefit of the Far Seas Trading Company.</DIV>

<DIV>Hmm. Did they revamp Highpass and Highkeep with the recent expansions in EQlive? I see that the Highpass Guards still have the same graphic textures, and the female human Luclin models in the other screenshot there, but the zones never looked like that before.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They physically redesigned those zones? That's a shame. They were my favorite zones in the game all because of the scenic beauty.</DIV>

It's been strongly hinted that Highpass Hold/Keep were rediscovered by the Far Seas Trading company and they are using that for their real base of operations. Nothing else is known about it as of yet. What you probably saw was the revamped Highpass for "The Serpent's Spine" EQLive's 12th Expansion. That expansion is taking place in lands through the mountains. Commonlands and Highpass and Kithcor are getting revamps, possibly more. (Plus the new L1 through L75 zones being added for the expansion itself)<div></div>

<div></div>Looking at Highold's location, it's possible that Highhold is now the Isle of Refuge<div></div>

<DIV>Nah. Thats what I originally thought too, but Vhalen revealed that there are a ton of islands that the Far Seas Trading Company are intentionally keeping secret from the maps of the common adventurerer for thier own benefit and for our own safety. Islands including Kithicor Forest and Highkeep.</DIV>

Plus TSS is showing that the Serpent Spine mountains have a LOT more in them than you would think when you run throuhg Highpass or Runny eye to get through them. The Isles of Refuge would probably better fit some new zones in TSS than Highpass. (Highpass is way too rocky). (Yes I know different games, different timelines, blah blah blah)<div></div>

There's not a single living thing on the island. Even the trees are dead.
