<DIV>I know that elves live for a very long time. Some were witness to the wars, the shattering and the rending.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I would like to know how long the races of norrath live for, in respect to real life human years.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone got a clue?</DIV>

There are a few threads around here that touch on the subject. <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=lore&message.id=8109" target=_blank>Here</a> is a good one for you.<div></div>

Thanks!
<DIV>I'm not 100% sure but I think it is the life expectancies that cause some controversy concerning EQOA really being 500 years before EQ1. Takish'Hiz being destroyed and some of the elves remembering its destruction.</DIV>

<DIV>Keep in mind that those are the Pen and Paper life expectancies, and many NPC's in EQlive and EQ2 have proven to be exceptions to the rule.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For starters, we have no clue how long Ratonga or Frogloks live. The Vah Shir life expectancies don't necissarily apply to the Kerra, because even though modern day Kerrans owe thier physical appearance (and newfound strengths) due to the genetics of the Vah Shir.. there's still the Kerran genetics that balance it out.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've seen many ogres, trolls, halflings, barely any of which are magically adept btw, and Erudites who rightfully should have died centuries ago regardless of how they used magic to keep alive. (most of those ogres weren't even magic users.)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Miragul himself didn't use Necromancy to further extend his frail life untill at least 1600 years into his life. (AT LEAST)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Of course... you can't tell me that Squire Fuzzmin in Barren Sky is the same Squire Fuzzmin from 500 years ago. Halflings shouldn't live any longer than 200 years.</DIV>
