It's certainly possible, and perhaps not that uncommon now that the dark elves live in Freeport. As for how the dark elves would view these half-elves, the same way they view practically everyone else: they likely hate their guts

All you need to do is look into the lore section on the main EQ2 page under book of destiny. In that there is a small story of a human and a tier'dal that have fallen in love. The main theme of that section of the book is the shattering.

The Teir'dal of the old world had a strict caste system. If the half breed was born in Neriak it and it's parents would be destroyed. The remaining family would then become outcasts and forced to live as fodder in the Foreign Quarter. Or even forced to leave Neriak all together.

Now it's up in the air. Most Teir'dal forgot the old ways.

If my character were to meet the mutt, my character would use the mutt until it could no longer serve his purpose. Once killed, the mutt would be reanimated to serve a new purpose.

Not necissarily forgotten. Choose to abandon the old way in order to adapt to the new.

The Tier'Dal view us as less than perfect.

I myself, am a result, of this breeding. Personally, i have no interest in the Tier'Dal bloodline I am a part of.

Qeynos has grown more tolerant of us with Tier'Dal heritage. back in the Age of Turmoil, not so much. But freeport has always been a little more left leaning than Qeynos, so it is possible that we may have had a slightly less harder time in residing there. Fortunately, my skin isn't as dusky as it could be. And alot less purple or blue, thankfully. So i haven't had much difficulty in Qeynos.

Raevin, my main, is half Teir'Dal. Her heritage though, is a result of her human mother being... uh, violently forced to have sex (that other word would be haxxored) by a Teir'Dal.

meh.... the 1/2 breeds... mutts..

I myself am one.. .. never knew my father and only a faint memory of my Tie'rdal mother..

do i give a dam really? no....

I am Ayr' Dal............................................... .. I'm already looked on in contempt from those on the light and dark sides of the elves, ....humans really are about as close as i'll get to anyone close to my own race, and still watched with an uneasieness around some of them..

I'm my own race not because I wanted to be looked on as one ... but because those others im made of decided to call me a mutt.... i'll be happy to take their "loser trophy" and bash them over the head with it....

There is a "canon" relationship between a Tier'dal female and a Human male from Lore Chapter XI, isn't there?

Does anyone else remember the video footage of character creation that was put out before Beta? At that time, half-elves had the option to have skin tones in shades of blue/purple. If I still have the link to it (or have it saved somewhere)I'll try to post it. I wish they would have kept that in Live (it was taken out before beta).

I realise that there may be more to them than that, but I'm not that much of a Tier'Dal fan to go into it so deeply. However, they worship Innoruk, and view hatred as a their driving force.
