It happened in EQ1 but post PoP however there were some similar themes between how the frogs lost their home in EQ1 and EQ2 lore.

Well, most are, but there were also Frogloks caught in the epicenter of Innoruuk's Curse of Guk who could have been twisted into evil, sadicistic, hateful froggies. This, I believe, is actually the premise of the Deepest Guk section LDoN (I know, I know, not necessarily EQ2 lore, so please don't use that excuse, I'm tired of explaining that it doesn't mean it did NOT happen it just means we do NOT KNOW if it happend). Also, this is why evil frogloks ended up living with good frogloks in Lake Rathetear after the baddies took Grobb back (my guess is the Teir'Dal were tired of the trolls stinking up their city). All this DID happen after PoP and is therefore, as I just said earlier, not part of EQ2, but does not rule it out as a possibility. Summary: frogloks can be evil, just like barbarians (also created by the Marr twins) can be evil, just like Teir'Dal (created by Innoruuk) can choose to be good. Isn't free choice SUPER!?!

Edit: Oh! And Krugup is still there, I go there and visit with the froggies once in a while, buy some fish wine (it's my troll's favorite, but he doesn't like the froglok's so my half elf buys it for him).

Message Edited by Nocturnal Abyss on 07-05-2006 09:28 PM

I believe the frogloks in EQlive only live together because it's for the better mutual benefit of both sides to just accept each other and live without problem untill they can find a better place to live.

Those Kunark Frogloks weren't terribly nice, but of course they aren't Guktan Frogloks.

Yeah they live under the rule of Trakanon, which is why they're hostile.

Probably would still be some undead frogloks or living frogloks who were cursed by Innoruuk living in there.
