Fiddy Bobick is found in the Peacock Club after you have gotten about halfway through the questline. After you complete Delving into Darkness, you get a key to go back into the club which has been refurbished by Marshal Ralem Christof. Fiddy Bobick is one of several strange patrons in there at this point.<div></div>

If you have a key to the Peacock Club, you are an ally of the League of Freethinkers. Within the coming months the Peacock Club will be seeing new visitors and new babble about the mysteries of Norrath. Be sure to earn your key.

Especially the steps up to the Peacock Club key, it does (well, did before they raised the level cap) get pretty group oriented, marching through Silent City and Living Tombs, but you should have no problem getting the key, Could probably do it on a weekend, maybe even getting some others to help on some parts, like the camels, and the Y things.  Carpet really helps with a lot of the running around, as does having someone who knows where to look for things, but Ogaming has a lot of useful /locs, which work wonderfully with /waypoint.

This ground has probably been covered somewhere already, but...There was a Fiddy Bobick in EQ1. http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=3166He didn't do a whole lot - he gave you a quest to go kill pirahnas in the lake (incidentially, this lake still exists - it's the lake where Chomper spawns in the EL for the Heritage quests, although the location relative to Rivervale itself is kind of... wrong. Hrm, maybe Chomper's ancestors hopped across the land to relocate their lake.) I don't think he could be described as the great anything, but since there's the docks in EL are named after him he presumably accomplished a fair bit in his lifetime, possibly after (or concurrent) with the events of EQ1. A great seafaring merchant empire, founded on pirahnah fangs? You never know.Of course, the events that lead him to be able to live for that kind of a time span must have been rather... interesting. Does anyone have his actual text from inside the Peacock Club? I'm not up to that level yet.<div></div>

<div></div>Hmm... very interesting.Back In The Day, in the old EQ1 Plane of Mischief, Bristlebane used to have little doll versions of all of the gods. It'd make sense that a certain halfling who might be chosen as his... avatar... would have something akin to the same power.Hmm... Fiddy Bobbick, Avatar of Mischief? It could happen. It doesn't exactly jibe with him being pulled under the sea, but neither does a Halfling Avatar of Prexus, so I dunno.EDIT: Do the dolls look anything like Antonius or Lucan, or are they just the standard moppet model? This might shed a little more light on the motives of the shadowed men and the nature of the void. It's a quest from EQ1 but it seems to be an old world quest; it's given out in Castle Mistmoore and I don't think you have to traverse into any expansion zones. May have been added later on but I suspect it's always been part of the lore at least. The speaker, Ssynthi, is an exiled shadowed man because he's decided to worship Solusek Ro:<i>You say, 'A new breed of shadowed man walks Norrath. What can you tell me of the deathspeakers?' Ssynthi says 'Ah, so the deathspeakers have decided to reveal themselves again. They are beings who claim they are closer to the realms of the dead than any other known race, and they have been known to rally the shadowed men in times when they deem other races to be dabbling too much in the powers of death and rebirth. Just as shadowed men as a whole despise those of us who follow Solusek Ro because they deem all of magic to have sprung from themselves.'</i> <div></div>

I finally got around to rescuing the Far Pelican, and asking Mr.Bobick about his long-lost(ish) relative. If you go back to Fiddy in the Peacock Club, he does have more to say...After you ask him if he's THE Fiddy Bobick, you can ask:<ul><li>Have you ever seen the Vasty Deep?</li></ul><ul><li>"Don't speak that name, DON'T SPEAK THAT NAME!  Oh, dreadful maws and nasty creatures.  Dreadful, awful place!"</li></ul><ul><li>So you have seen it?</li></ul><ul><li>"What?  Umm...No...never.  I've read about it though, you know, in one of those Jusathorn books."</li></ul>Is the Vasty Deep related to the Black Sun Sea? Ah, so you finally find out about him there? I went back into EQ1 and scoured Qeynos and Freeport and anywhere else I could think for mention of him but didn't find any.<div></div>

<DIV>Yeah you find out about him somewhat early on in the Sanctum of the Scaleborn series of quests for the Claymore line.</DIV>

It might interest you to know that as of LU40, there is a new Epic quest, involving a doll that I found named "Lucan". I am at a point in the quest where it is asking me to find the owner of the moppet, and the quest itself is under the instance "The moppet shoppe". Any idea where I might find mr. Fiddy?Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I've scratched my head about this for a long time, and can't think of an answer.

In Kunzar Jungle, behind the City of Mist, there are several slain knigts that will start the quest for anyone with an adventuring level of 80.
