<DIV>So i was camping Webclaw on naggy server. Webclaw spawns in a lagoon type area passed permafrost. I at one point am attacked by some even cons and i jump into the water for some extra cover. Sure enough i make it out alive. Then i notice i am surrounded by Glowing spires deep in this area. The old stones still glowing with power and its in pretty good shape still. So what happened here, Was this place once above water? Will we ever see it fixed? </DIV>

Seeing as it's the remains of some Quellithulian spires, yeah, they were most likely once above water.

<DIV>No, the Quellithulian Spires in Everfrost, Lavastorm, and Zek will never be fixed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The orcs would just destroy them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The spires are located underwater, and Everfrost isn't a very stable or tempermental continent to rebuild.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The spires are partially submerged in lava, and aside from the environment in Lavastorm being to much of a threat itself, the fire giants would probably find a reason to attack them as well.</DIV>

<DIV>The Quellthulians made an effort to begin the reactivation of the Zek spires but the orcs saw to it that the mission failed... in a very bloody way. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Quellthulian investigators deemed the Everfrost and Lavastorm spires too dangerous to reactivate in their current states. One is many feet below icy water, the other on the verge of sinking into a cauldron of boiling lava.</DIV>

I never understood the concept that the story completely has nothing to do with the difficulty of the zones. How did 30ish Zek orcs manage to best Quellithulians, who have 70s in their ranks? :O

Just because a monster is level x, doesn't mean that's actually how powerful they are.</P> <P>Example:</P> <P>Varsoon, in all his level 30 glory, could easily go toe to toe with some of the more difficult dragons this game has to offer. Currently, you'd find oh... something of 140 or so orcs (give or take 40) found in Zek. I'm just talking mob numbers...</P> <P>Well imagine each of those mobs represented 1000 orcs..</P>

As a level 30 Brigand I once solod about 100 different level 20-22 orcs in BSV. Maybe it's just a case that the Quellthulians sent, were much weaker (like some quest or another that has you fight level 50ish zek orcs)</P>
