Ever since reading this particular forum, I've been obsessed with the lore in game, and I find myself reading and researching here more than any other forum ( the Troubador class forum is downright depressing, what with all the complainers ). I read every quest dialogue slowly instead of just clicking through, and it seems that quests are either broken down into A) kill these nasty rats type quests or B) filled with juicy lore goodnessOk so, I just finished the Shiny Brass Halberd HQ last night. During this quests I took my time to read it all and soak it up, but...no where did I see anything about any lore. It was just the Dragoon saying how he had been placed there by his superiors and was awaiting their return so he could leave - that's all I got out of it. Did I miss something?<div></div>

The Shiney Brass Halberd HQ is more about the Dragoon and less about the weapon. The weapon itself used to drop off a named Shralok orc in Highpass in EQlive. For the first year of the game, it was one of the easier to obtain good quality two-hand slash weapons for Warriors, Paladins, Shadowknights, and Rangers to use.

K, that's what I thought.PGT HQ didn't seem to lore rich either. I'm looking to start a few others, also working on the Guise in Nek castle. I'm sure I'll be back here to ask pointless questions about those too~<div></div>

The good lore doesn't come until you do the T5 HQ's. Stein of Moggok was m'eh. My favorite was LLL and T's Mystical Eyepatch. Heh, kinda wished that to complete the Jboots you had to kill an ancient cyclopse.

Go ahead and clear that out if you want a chance to kill it.

I already have. I was just saying though, that it would of been a fun throwback to have to camp for it to finnish the quest. But for not nearly as long as we did in EQLive.
