<div></div>So my guild kills Trak, and surprise! <a target="_blank" href="http://home.comcast.net/%7Eleniana/pics/EQ2_000180.jpg">Jaundiced Bone Breastplate</a> Why does Venekor have Trak's loots? Venekor is also a poison dragon... Are they related? Could Trak have possibly had his curse lifted? Or could he perhaps have stolen a young dragon's body? Did he sire children? The possibilities are endless! Any other ideas?<div></div>

<DIV>Nothing has been stated about Trak'anon in EQ2. I don't believe he's even been mentioned anywhere yet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for the loots...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Explain why the Dwarven Work Boots are found in Antonica, or why the Polished Granite Tomahawk is given to you by a giant instead of found off a gnoll?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or why the Sceptre of Destruction, originally found off the warders in Sleepers Tomb untill some idiot guild selfishly killed them all and woke Kerafyrm up, is now found in Deathtoll in the Bonemire?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My point is, I don't think that the loot off a monster necissarily has anything to do with it's history, but nothing has been revealed yet about Venekor or Trak.</DIV>

Well we know that he's a young dragon with an "mysterious" past who keeps turning up in the oddest places....I don't think it's a coicidence that both Trak and Vene are poison dragons. Those BPs were Trak's signature. Dwarven work boots are in Antonica because Rucksif's relative is there. Since Kerafyrm was the sleeper, and since Deathtoll is intricately connected to Kerafyrm it makes a sort of sense to have one of the weapons dropped by his warders to be found there. The PGT, well I don't know, maybe the giant found it in his shoe after squashing a gnoll or something.<div></div>

<DIV>Actually it doesn't make sense at all that a warder's weapon would show up in Deathtoll since Kerafyrm despised what they were. the warders were the enemies of Kerafyrm.</DIV>

The fact that the Jaundiced Bone Breastplate dropped off Trak is just coincidental, in my opinion.</DIV>

<div></div>And why wouldn't Kerafyrm want to take trophies from those he most hated? What else drops in Halls of Seeing that was class defining? I've seen a <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=130895" target="_blank">Tolan's Darkwood BP</a> floating around too... Did it also drop from Venekor? <a href="http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=4503" target="_blank">Trak and his loots</a>Also, our good friend <a href="http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/search.shtml?id=4572" target="_blank">Jumpalot</a> makes an appearance in the zone.... Curiouser and Curiouser....Edit: Oh look, another Vene/Trak loot so far discovered:<a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=130936" target=_blank><span class="itemTitle">Blood Ember Breastplate</span></a>Keep in mind the zone's only been open 4 weeks or so, who knows what else is on his loot table. Personally, if a Mylo's drops, I'm all over that shiznit. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Leniana on <span class=date_text>05-31-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:02 AM</span>

The place is full of things he has stolen from other dragons. He definitely doesn't others of his kind to realize this, and he is so afraid of this news getting out that he will kill anyone who enters his lair. You'll notice that he has golems and statues in his service, automatons that lack the ability or the desire to reveal his secrets.</P> <P>And yes, Venekor's kleptomania extends even to Trakanon--a dragon toward whom he harbors no small degree of resentment.</P> <P>The tale of Venekor's lineage is one that should be told, though I'm loathe to just blurt it out here. We'll see if we can't work it into the world in a more interesting way.</P>

It was "the battle of modern adventurers that drove venekor away from Cazic-Thule but upon his retreat we Fear Knights gathered the scattered leaf lets which led us here." *Paraphrasing a bit but thats the gist I got from it*</P> <P>Seems to me Venekor terrorized the small area of Cazic-Thule till we adventurers decided to step in causing Venekor to Retreat to his home in the Over realm. Hopefully the Trading Information quest will help to shed some light on this little detail for me. :smileywink:<BR></P>

Correct me if I am wrong, but Venekor once served Trakanon.<div></div>

I think I can see Venekor being a klepto because he served under another dragon in the past and didn't quite get the respect he deserved or something like that.

<DIV>Many reptiles are venemous.. I don't know.</DIV>
Although with Trakanon and the Iksar, didn't he assail the former capital of Sebilis and take it over leaving it iksar-less? While Venekor doesn't seem to mind the lizardmen.(if that's wrong sorry, i'm too lazy and depressed at the failing of my desktop pc's cpu fan dying to double check myself)<div></div>
