Lore behind Items?

Ok we've all come accrossed them, items that are marked as "lore" when you examine them.  My question is how do you find the lore behind that item?  Most of it has no story that I can find behind it.  I don't have a single item in mind, just odd that what seems the accepted term for story also is another term for "can't mail item" on loot. <div></div>

It all depends on what it is. The whole "Lore" thing is basically "it's integral to a quest or somehow related to the running story, so you can only have one."

Lore only means you can only have one, to prevent players from cashing in on the opportunity to farm them and sell them at outrageous prices.
