What do we know about the crashed Gnome airship? What were they trying to do and what part of Norath did they come from?<div></div>

Then we could say gnomes are so far out there that they are from another planet but :smileyindifferent: .

<DIV>I honestly think that the Dreadnever Gnomes knew that the Gatecallers were going to rebuild the spires to attempt to open up again, so they created the rocket to physically get themselves up there instead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The rocket is still bellowing out smoke, which leads me to think that they haven't been there for very long. Maybe a couple months or so.</DIV>

what i find interesting is that gnomes can fly almost to space and then find kos, but cant just fly around and find the rest of norrath....

Thats why they can't invent a flying machine. They don't know what the heck aerodynamics or non-combustable energy alternatives are.</P>

A single gnome can invent some wonderous things. Put a few gnomes together and...well you know. <div></div>

<DIV>I still love my post that asked what would happen if gnomes invented fire arms. The funniest response was they would never invent firearms because gnomes would be mistaken for ammo. Them as well as ratonga, halflings and dwarfs heh heh .</DIV>

Why is it that we just have evidence of gnome aeronautic skill because we have a couple crash sites around norrath? How come we never see their more successful flights in action?<div></div>
I am pretty sure they are from Ak'anon. Figured I'd say that since no one had mentioned that part of question. There are a few hints I can't remember off the top of my head. The captain I believe mentions Ak'anon a few times as if they came from there. It might just be gnomes talking about their hometown though, but it comes off as if they are from ak'anon.<div></div>

<DIV>Speaking of gnomes in KoS... anyone know who the gnome in Deathtoll is? Is he from the Drednever Expedition? He's a very out of place inhabitant of Deathtoll... his appearance there intrigues me.</DIV>

<DIV>His name is 'Fitzpitzle'. And I haven't been able to find anything about him in eq1 stuff. Maybe someone else knows where he is from?</DIV>
