<DIV>Hey, I just created a Furry toon on Antonia Bayle and I have no idea how to roleplay a Furry <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> I know that they use the power of nature (right?) and thats about it. My questions are: </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) What Gods do they follow if any?</DIV> <DIV>2) What type of mannerisms do they have generally if any (he's a half elf)?</DIV> <DIV>3) Whatever else might help</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> -Thanks</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>By the way, I DO know these questions are pretty general and stupid, haha</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>First off it would be Fury, not furry. one r. Now for your questions:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) Most of them probably worship either Karana or Tunare. Other nature type gods work too, but those are most likely the ones you would follow. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) Half elves run the gambit. They can be cheery, or they can be sullen. There is no real set way for them to act.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3) Ummm... This depends on if you are Qeynosian or Freeportian. So does 1 now that I think about it. Basically Furies are the destructive end of nature. THey are the lightning that destroys a tree or the wildfire that spreads through the plains. They care less about the renewal end (that is what druids are for) and more for the survival of the fittest end of things.-</DIV>

yeah, umm...Roleplaying a Furry is a fetish thing thats really not appropriate for an SOE game, let alone it's public forums....

<DIV>A Half Elf Fury would be someone who's generally rebelious in nature, and not afraid to walk his own path or disagree with someone else's actions because of it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As a Fury, they'd worship the storms. The Floods.</div> <div> </div> <div>Harness the power of nature!</div><hr></blockquote>Yeah I'd have to agree with this, they would be about the forces and power of nature. Karana would be very fitting. From Prima guide on half evles:"Half elves are the offspring of Humans and any of the three ancient Elven races (writer note: I wish they'd put in some bluish skin colors for half Tier'Dal). They are taller than most Elves but slightly shorter than Humans, with softened features exhibiting a mix between their parent races.Half Elves posses no heritage of their own, having long been forced to exist outside the boundaries of polite Elven society. As such, they've been mostly content to live in the Human cities, or to embrace their woodland heritage and call the outdoors home.High Elves and Dark Elves view Half Elves with disdain, as they represent a taint upon the purity of their respective races. Wood Elves are somewhat more accepting, and Humans don't care one way or the other."It also says how they generally have no deity as they felt abandoned, other than druids going the Tunare or Karana route. Also in the druid section:"As a Druid matures and becomes more seasoned and experienced, he/she tends to hear the spiritual call of either Tunare or Karana. Those who are drawn to the overt power of storms follow Karana and become Furies, while those who are drawn to the more subtle power of the changing of seasons become Wardens."Of course you can always go outside the *general guidelines*. These statements would be more about the majority and there's always room for some oddities.</div>

I play a fury on AB server. I roleplay her as being scorned by Tunare closing the gates to Her Plane. My fury uses her abilities to draw on the chatoic power of nature that's around her and she's forsaken anything ever doing with Tunare.

Since the gods are gone, it wouldn't be unusual for a fury to be agnostic, but I'd imagine that typical druidic dieties would be Tunare, Karana, Prexus, Xegony and Solusek.</P> <P>2. I roleplay my druid as displaying a higher awareness of things around her, a greater understanding. Whether she actually has such knowledge is another thing entirely, but she projects the image of being all knowing of the forces at work around her. She's more a force <EM>of</EM> nature than a servant of it, but that's just one take on the class.</P> <P>3. Not sure what else to say. Depending on your character's alignment or philosophy, they could either be calling upon nature for aid and respecting it, or bending it to their will like a defiler would with the forces of Ethernere.</P>

My point is that a religion for your character, regardless of class, is not essential. A lack of faith in the gods is perfectly reasonable when you consider their neglect.</DIV>

I have a Dark-elf fuy myself. She believes the answers lay in the forests and tends to them helping purge it of those who would keep her away. She loves and covets the Nektulosian woods (even at higher levels she still wanders the woods purging an occasional unworthy)<div></div>
