The Tome of Destiny, Chapter 11 recounts the Shattering:<a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/lore.vm?section=chapter_11" target="_blank">http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/lore.vm?section=chapter_11</a>The Tome of Destiny will also give you a timeline of select events leading up to EQ2.<div></div>

<div>Honestly, for an event that happened 15 years ago, you'd think there'd be more people talking about it in the game.</div>

People grow tired of going over the past over and over and over again; eventually they pick up the pieces of their lives and move on. 15 years is nearly a full generation for some of the races in EQ, meaning there would be a lot of people who wouldn't know the world pre-Shattering.For a RL example, take a look on <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991" target="_blank">Wikipedia </a>for the events that occured 15 years ago IRL and think of how many of them are still being talked about today. Among other things 15 years ago, the first Gulf War is ongoing,  Pinatubo errupted in the Phillipines, Aparthied ended in South Africa, Yugoslavia broke apart, and the USSR separated back into its nation states. Yet most of those events are not even thought of today. It's all history now.</span></div>

<div>Maybe so, but the mystery behind it still remains. You don't just shut down a case because of lack of evidence.</div>

<div></div>We should definatly field test that theory.  Lets blow up our moon, wait 15 years, and see how many people are still talking about it.
