EQ1 and EQ2 Timeline

HI have had something that has bugged me for a very long time.  I played EQ1 for 5 years and EQ2 since launch and am semi up to date on the lore of both games.  One main thing that I can not grasp is the timeline between the 2.  I am aware taht event up to the Plane of Time happened in both games (lore wise ofcourse) but have heard conflicting opinions after.  I did beat PoTime with my guild and rember after freeing Zeb that Druzzil Ro turned back time.  This is where it gets fuzzy to me.  How far back exactly did she reset time.  After she does this and you zone out you are back in the library right before...what?  Before you enter Plane of Time?  before you enter elements?  that is one thing I am confused about.Another thing, along the same lines, is I have heard that after this happened it created another "alternate" reality which is where EQ2 takes place.  In this reality Talosea (GoD), The Discord Plane (oow), and everything else never happened...is that true?  I hate to believe this and would hope that it was not an alternate reality but a set of events that all make one story that will eventually bridge the past (EQ1) to the future (EQ2).  Or maybe it is all left to speculation?  Basically I would love to know the answer to this even if you just link me to another thread dealing with this subject (I tried to do a search, but search function has been down for days).Thank you in advance,Anestacia<div></div>

So one timeline folded back on itself and the events of the Plane of Time never happened, which I always took as being EQ1 since this is what happened there. The other I've always taken as the EQ2 timeline where things turned out much differently.</span><div></div>
