<div></div>Well, there were Kingdom of Sky concept art/screens in the loading screens since launch, so maybe we will some an underwater zone someday.

<div></div><div>Yeah I know exactly what picture you mean.  It's like a big lanternfish thing.  I've wondered about that too.</div>

That's one of my favorite concept pics. (That and the rowdy-looking halfling brigand with the knife and the toothpick, being held back by his friends.) It's just so Lovecraftian. I LIKE not knowing what the heck that thing might be. And I shudder to imagine how genuinely terrified I'd be if I was swimming in the Ocean of Tears one day and saw that enormous murky mass in the distance. <i>That</i>, my friends, is a sea monster. That loading screen and the one with the big hulking green thing with multiple arms and mouths make me wonder how anyone could criticize EQ2 art as being sterile or uninspired.<div></div>

Interesting, haven't seen this one, but I have hardly ever been to KoS myself. What about that "Gnome Mole" concept art loading screen, large broken digging contraption that is rather interesting. Does that exist anywhere in game?

Wooooo, cool! Looks like I shall head to SE as well...tough to get there though, Lavastorm is such a bothersome maze and that dang teleport thing doesn't work for me (could be me being silly again, though)<div></div>

<div></div><p>I've almost found a way to jump all the way down there with 325 safefall so far I get close and can't quite do it.  Give me 70 and time to get max safefall and I might bring back up close pictures = ).</p>

<div>If you ask me, it looks like a giant aquatic severed medusa head...Very very creepy.. Reminds me of my ex mother in law.</div>

<div></div><blockquote><hr>Cusashorn wrote:<div>Ahh so you can safely land on the island? cool.</div><hr></blockquote>No, the island isn't solid, you fall right through it. I tried to "suicide jump" myself on top of it just to get a better look and I fell right through it. You cannot land on this island at all. The closest you can get to it is the obsidian walkway that heads to the forge.

<div>Loading screens can often contain concepts of locations or creatures in the world that have been designed, but not made part of the game world. That nasty looking fish is one of them. It looks pretty dangerous. I would hate to run into that thing while swimming to shore. Just be happy it does not exist, yet.</div>

<div></div>Just goto the Bonemire and the island called "Dreadnever crash site". It is that exact machine that is in SE and you can walk all over it. There is also one quest that bounces you to the tip top of it.

<div>Yeah, the Rocket Ship looks nothing like the Gnomish Digging Mole machine.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Anyway Vhalen, are you saying that even though that fish was never put into the game, you don't have any lore on what it is or was suppose to be?</div>

<div>They're both cylindrical huge peices of metal with cogs and sprockets sticking out. Other than that, they don't look much alike.</div>

<div></div>I always figured it was gonna be EQ2 Phinny (Phinegal Atropos?) and would be in Kedge Keep whenever Faydwer was opened.

Maybe looking down on the Solusek's Eye one and looking up at the Dreadnever one is causing a difference in appearance, but they are the exact same model, with the exception that the Drednever model has a wing buried in the ground nearby (and that it's solid, but that doesn't affect the appearance of the model).

My brother disagrees as well , but there are parts of the two that make it very apparent they are similar models.</p><p> </p><p>What i want to know on the loading screen is what is the place that looks like a big metal dome with several exhaust pipes sticking out of it with outer towers that have big HAL type red lights on it? Don't recall seeing anything lilke that yet in game, and to me it just seems way to Gnomish in design/nature.</p>
