<div></div><div>When the Teir'Dal burnt Felwithe to the ground and assassinated their king, did the Koada'Dal migrate to Antonica straight away, or did they inhabit what was left of their destroyed city for a while before making the move overseas? And did they once inhabit Freeport before Lucan D'Lere barred the Koada'Dal from living there (save by passing through Matthias Seigemaker's trials or suchlike), or have they been living solely in Qeynos for the duration of their stay in the Shattered Lands?</div><p>Message Edited by Astralmage on <span class="date_text">03-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:25 AM</span></p>

<div>I thought it was Kelethin they burned down?</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>At any rate, it hasn't been said when they moved to Qeynos.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>For that matter, it hasn't been really stated when any of the races moved to Freeport or Qeynos except for the Barbarians after the snow orcs and goblins destroyed Halas in the 2nd Rallosian War.</div><div> </div><div>They all just moved in "After the Rending" occured. But since the Rending happened over the course of 200-300 years, that's a long time to move.</div>

<div></div>I had thought that some of the races had come to assist in the defense and later rebuilding of the cities, and just never made it home before the world got all funkified

The story in Willowdale? about Woodelf history (the elf in the graveyard) explains some of what happened in Faydwer with the wars and how the Gnomes and Dwarves showing up helped turn the tide in the Elves' favour in the end. She also went on about how they rebuilt Kelethin, but this particular elf was so tired of the fighting and the memories in the Faydark (particularly about the family she lost), she decided to go to Qeynos for a few decades and recouperate. Then the rending occured preventing her from returning.<div></div>

The whole elven race didn't move to Qeynos, only a few lucky ones who happened to be there, and those who heard the "call of Quellious". Same thing with many of the races, for example the only reason there's iksar in Freeport is because one of their ships happened to be in the area.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Remember all of us players are lost people. Some of our toons in theory could of been helping with qeynos and while on our way back home meteors start fallin and next thing we know we are on the newb island. To find out what we were doing before the shattering would be interesting. Could perhaps role play this out a bit with some interest.</p><p>From the lore it says kelethin was burnt down. Wood Elf tree city. Also says it was rebuilt. Felwithe was the high elf city and it still may be there totally intact or it could of been destroyed in the shattering. </p><p>Basically in this war what happened was this :</p><p>Dark elfs send out troops. They use miraguls highway to sneak into faydark. ( this was the underwater spires in TD that had the firepots to port into good citys.</p><p>Kelethin is first to get hit by the siege and take the most losses. Felwithe does send constant troops out but kelethin is right out in the open and naturally takes most of the beating.</p><p>After kelethin was burnt down and wood elfs on its last few fighters the dwarves and gnomes come to battle ( believe they had battles at thier doors as well and that was the hold up) Battle was won and things started recouperating. ( believe shortly after this the rallosians started fighting qeynos and freeport and the such )</p><p>Dark elfs are kinda left to hang lore wise, thier home was being ransacked by the halflings. I dont know if the troops returned after it all got nuked by the necro or if they were somewhere else.</p><p> </p><p>Basically the Wood elfs got hit hard. High elfs it didt say too much bout them but im sure they took some hits. Think both these went to qeynos to help with defense and rebuilding even durning the rebuilding of kelethin.</p>
